The Veer Union set to release new album, Decade on January 29th

December 8, 2015

The Veer Union are set to release their new album, Decade on January 29th via Pavement Entertainment. On December 16, 2015 the band will start a Facebook Bundle Pre-Order that includes a signed CD and Veer Union t-shirt. https://www.facebook.com/theveerunion . 2016 marks the 10 year span between The Veer Unions’ first album “Time To Break The Spell” (2006) and their brand new release appropriately titled “Decade”. This marks 10 years of The Veer Union and their struggles of overcoming adversity and follows the highly successful 2012 release “Divide The Blackened Sky”. Lead vocalist Crispin Earl took a rather unique approach to coincide with the concept of the new album “Decade”. He took the opportunity to take 5 unreleased songs which were written before the first incarnation of The Veer Union 10 years ago, and  bring them back to life. 5 brand new songs were also written for this new album bridging the span of over a DECADE proving that The Veer Union can stand the test of time. By incorporating the original vision of the band [Read More]

Marie-Claire Berreen & Her Husbands returns with a touching new video

December 8, 2015

One of my favorite angelic voice has returned! UK Folk rockers Marie-Claire Berreen & Her Husbands have just released a beautiful new video for their song, Come Home. Once again, y ou are greeted with the warm sweet vocals of Marie-Claire that embrace you in a comforting hug.  “Come Home was inspired by the view of a North Welsh harbour. The song is filled with emotion and imagery, of losing someone and yearning for their return, which inspired the story telling nature of the video. The aerial footage was taken at the harbour and then overlaid with scenes created by artists at Worcester Snoezelen, an independent charity which offers multi-sensory and creative activities for people with disabilities.” Check out the amazing video here: You can check out some behind the scenes photos and how they made this creative video by visiting:  http://mcbandhh.squarespace.com/making-the-video. The song is the title track off their latest album which is available on iTunes and Bandcamp. One thing is for sure, you will get lost in the music as it takes you away on a [Read More]

One of my favorite bands, Hunter Valentine have announced some bittersweet news for 2016. We have featured Hunter Valentine several times and we have just received news of a new EP and Tour but with that news, they have also announced an indefinite hiatus.  The news is below: Cutting edge rock band, Hunter Valentine, have been commanding attention for over a decade with their memorable, hard-hitting tunes. They have cultivated a loyal legion of fans over the years, and it’s to those fans that the ladies of Hunter Valentine are announcing their indefinite hiatus. In early 2016 the band will be launching their EP, The Pledge, and embarking on the So Long For Now Tour for a last hoorah with their unwavering supporters. Blue October’s concert film Things We Do At Night (Live From Texas) is a MUST HAVE!

December 2, 2015

Blue October recently released their live concert film, Things We Do At Night (Live From Texas) on November 20th on DVD/Blue Ray also as a double disc concert album on CD and digital. It is an exceptional work of art that truly captures the raw emotion that Blue October brings to the stage. For a concert film, many go to relive a concert memory or to get an idea of what a concert might be like. With this concert film, you will watch it and not only be reminded of the great performances of Blue October but will watch with anticipation of when will be the next time you can see them. The concert film was filmed at House of Blues in Dallas, Texas and includes songs from their extensive catalog spanning nearly two decades. The lighting and ambiance of the film truly capture the concert experience and you are instantly transported into the audience. Personally, I have seen Blue October nearly a dozen times and the video brings the magical element of their performance to [Read More]
