Interview with PALAYE ROYALE as they delivered a high energy set in San Francisco at Slim’s

November 3, 2015

Sunday night at Slim’s was the place to be as Ghost Town kicked off their Haunted Youth Tour in San Francisco. We will be bringing you full coverage of the entire night but for now, we wanted to bring you our interview with Palaye Royale.  We have been smitten with the music of Palaye Royale for a couple years now and it was great to finally see them perform live. They were incredible and you can’t help but feel a Rolling Stones vibe as they channel rock and roll at its finest and add their original style . They have successfully captured the attention of the youth of today with their infectious high energy rock n roll as well as the hearts of seasoned rockers who welcome their artistic style to old school rock. We had the opportunity to chat with drummer Emerson Barrett and vocalist Remington Leith after their set and are pleased to bring that interview to you here: One thing is for sure, Palaye Royale is definitely a band for you to [Read More]

Jacky Vincent has left Falling In Reverse to concentrate on solo career

October 30, 2015

It has been announced that Jacy Vincent has left Falling In Reverse to further concentrate on his solo career. The post was made on Falling In Reverse Facebook page referencing an article in Alternative Press.  The departure was amicable and we can’t wait wait to see what Jacky has next in store for his very promising future. We featured Jacky a couple years back as one of our 12 Days of Guitarists. Jacky is one of the most awesome shredders out there today. His solo album highlights his amazing guitar playing and his impeccable technique. His solo album Star X Speed Story is amazing and it literally takes you through his high energy, lightning speed shredding. It is one of the top guitar instrumental albums out, right up  there with Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Paul Gilbert and my true favorite; Michael Angelo Batio whom Jacky credits a lot of his guitar playing. Some of my personal faves on the album are Without You, Runaway Tryst, Venom Love, Fatal Envy and of course Maybe I am a Wolf.  [Read More]

Lotus Crush release poignant music video for ‘All The Same’ that chronicles life on the street

October 23, 2015

So many times people just walk or drive by a homeless person on the street, possibly avoiding any eye contact. Why? Because so many people just dismiss the homeless and if they look at them, they become real to them, real people, real situations, real feelings. I have been guilty of that myself in the past, until I took the time to talk and get to know people’s stories. The more I have done that, the more I realized, we are all the same. We all can be one paycheck, one injury, one bad decision away from living on the street. Lotus Crush have released a new video for their song, All The Same which takes the camera to the streets of Skid Row in Los Angeles. The video was directed by C. Thomas Howell and it is a beautiful and poignant video that reminds us all that we are ALL THE SAME! C. Thomas Howell comments about the video: “In our video…you see that there is still love and hope and that’s what our story [Read More]
