January 5, 2015

Singer Songwriter Joel Poe has a voice that will definitely brighten the saddest of hearts and give much needed hope to a young generation. Joel has recently signed to Standby Records to release his new debut album, Drowkid on January 13th through Standby Storytellers, an imprint from Standby Records. Joel’s soaring vocals capture so much emotion and truly brings peace to the listener. With his new album, Joel hopes to comfort, heal, inspire a generation which he feels is too young to be sad. He has such a great voice and when you take a listen, you can’t help but know that he definitely holds the power to be the inspiration and bright light to many. Joel comments on his new album, “This is my first ever album and it’s kind of a big deal to me- so I’m both, super excited and nervous at the same time. The music in it is really personal; songs about my self-harm story as well as songs about love and friendship. But overall it’s an album full of positive [Read More]

The highly anticipated new album Golden from rockers Delta Rose is out now! This is one album that is well worth the wait! You can pick up your copy by vi visiting their website: http://www.deltaroseusa.com/. Rock n Roll is alive and thriving and when you take a listen to the new album from Delta Rose, you will strongly agree with me. They have such a welcoming sound that you just can’t wait to tell all your friends about them. Earlier this year, Delta Rose had the great honors of opening for Guns n Roses  at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Don’t miss The Family Ruin out on the Moving On Tour

December 1, 2014

We brought you our coverage of Asking Alexandria as they made a stop in San Francisco for The Moving On Tour. Now, we can’t wait to tell you about the opening band out on the tour, The Family Ruin. We have been featuring this amazing rock band from the UK all year long. We brought you our review of their kick ass album, Dearly Departed which was released in September and we couldn’t wait to finally catch them perform live. One thing is for sure, they delivered an amazing kick ass set at the Regency Ballroom. I love it when a band that I really enjoy listening to can match the same intensity of their music as they do live on stage. This is one band that definitely has no problem conquering that battle. They blew me away and had me eagerly wanting to see them again soon! Check out more photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan: From the moment they hit the stage and until they walked off to greet fans at their merch [Read More]

Switchblade Serenade announce new EP featuring a heavier modern sound

November 8, 2014

One of our favorite rock bands,  Switchblade Serenade have announced new music for the coming year. They have announced that they will be releasing a new EP and it will have a heavier modern sound. These guys are incredible musicians and I know one thing, they are unstoppable and we can’t wait to hear their new music.  They released the following statement on their Facebook page which tells a bit more of the vision of the band and the evolution of their new sound: Over the past few months we have had some changing thoughts on what we want Switchblade Serenade to be. In our earlier years our influence of bands like Motley Crue and Guns N’ Roses was more prominent in our writing style. However we never wanted to be a so called “80’s Band”. We have been getting tired of being labeled as such and we wanted to let our other [Read More]
