Cold Years announce new record and share new single “32”
Scottish band Cold Years just announced their 2nd album “Goodbye To Misery” for April 22nd, 2022. They also shared their new single/video “32”. “32” is Cold Years’ signature “Welcome To The Black Parade” that fuses MCR, Green Day and Queen into a theatrical punk rock anthem. “32 is our ‘fuck it, let’s just run away’ song that best conveys the message of the album. It’s about overcoming difficulties and growing as a person.” “32 came out of nowhere. We wanted to do something different and really explore our sound. In the first few months of lockdown, I really struggled with loneliness. I didn’t feel at home in my home and I was fed up with it. This is our ‘Screw it, let’s just run away’ track and best expresses the album’s message, which is about overcoming difficulties and growing as a person, facing all your fears and insecurities, and realizing that you can do it is not alone.
