Every Time I Die – New video for “Thing With Feathers”

October 25, 2021

Hardcore-heroes Every Time I Die released their long-awaited 9th studio record “Radical” last Friday. To celebrate the release, the band also shared a new video for the song “Thing With Feathers”. Produced by Brandon Dermer (White Reaper, Panic! At The Disco, Diplo) the video shows the disappearance of frontman Keith Buckley and the epic performance of the band in front of the Los Angeles skyline. Produced and mixed by Will Putney (Acacia Strain, Body Count, The Amity Affliction), “Radical” is a 16-track high-class album from ETID, alchemized by a marshy incantation of Southern Rock and rough poetry, the music whirls under sardonic and clever puns and cements the band as leaders, not followers. Though they were inspired by the unrest and upheavals of the past five years, “Radical” concentrates more on humanity, decency, self-esteem, and even a little bit of spirituality than on politics. “This time I concentrate on difficult matters, which are not only personal to me, they are also universal and common experiences”, explains Keith. “The songs are insofar realistic, as they approve, [Read More]

October 25, 2021

Last weekend AZ-based band The Word Alive shared the news of the departure of co-founding member Tony Pizzuti (guitar) and Matt Horn (drums). The band released the following statement: Dear TWA Family, For the last 18+ months we’ve dreamed of reuniting on stage to perform for you all. We’ve spent countless hours working on new music, live streams for you & connecting in ways we never envisioned while the world stopped. Through that time we’ve all grown & changed in many ways. It is in that spirit that we announce a lineup change to The Word Alive. It’s bitter sweet because while we’ve loved every special memory we share w/ both Tony/Matt & couldn’t have made it this far without their dedication & passion for the band, to our message & the fans first & foremost, we must support their decision to pursue other opportunities life has presented them. We have so much love for them as it is w/ any previous member of The Word Alive, our goal is to always push forward with [Read More]

Delaire The Liar release new track and video for “No Thanks”

October 25, 2021

The majestic Delaire The Liar have released a brilliant, brand new single and video ‘No Thanks’ via their new home at Rude Records. This is the follow-up to recent singles ‘Furnace‘ and ‘Halloween‘, both out in the last 5 months. Speaking about the new song the band said: “There’s a conflict of interest when it comes to offering help to the people you love. It can be distracting: it can bring assurance that you are still of value to the relationships you care so much about; that you can still contribute positively irrespective of your own wellbeing. It can be dangerous: it can be frightening to know that the people you love will put everything they have on the line for you despite themselves; for you to get better and still they expect no thanks”. Music, at its best, opens the door to an honesty that borders on disconcerting. For London four-piece Delaire The Liar, expressing a central truth is at the very core of all they create. Utilizing a weaponized punk rock attitude that [Read More]

Void Of Vision release new EP this Friday

October 20, 2021

Since their burst onto the scene nearly eight years ago, Australian metal favorites Void Of Vision have used their platform as a projection of anger, apathy, darkness, and despair. Whether a faithful fan or peripheral onlooker, the band’s previous recorded, visual and live performance elements made their bleak sentiments clear for anyone to see. “CHRONICLES I: LUST” – the group’s newly announced EP due to drop this Friday – smashes this perception. On a granular level “LUST” discusses topics including mental health and music (heard on recent single “THE LONELY PEOPLE”), confronting relationship breakdowns (“GOTHIKA”), and a culture of predatory and abusive men in the music industry as discussed on today’s single “VAMPYR”. The EP’s visuals – intentionally stark, true-tone black and white – speak to the personal grappling and growth vocalist Jack Bergin experienced during its writing, symbolizing the “seeing it for what it is”, plain in black and white, reality that he encountered. Speaking more in-depth about the release of “VAMPYR”, Jack shares that it reflects on a collective process of disappointment turned [Read More]

Don Broco release brand new single “Endorphins”

October 18, 2021

Don Broco have released their new single “Endorphins” alongside a brand new video. The track is the latest to be taken from their forthcoming new album “Amazing Things”, which will be digitally released on October 22nd via Sharptone Records. “Endorphins” is an unmistakable slice of Don Broco’s power, delivering yet another pulsating and infectious anthem. Overflowing with monstrous riffs, jagged synths, pummeling drums, and a towering irresistible chorus, the track sees them blend their light and dark sides together. The video is another brilliant addition to Don Broco’s catalog of supremely inventive, creative, and funny short films, with the band posing as shape-shifting superheroes battling masked villains in a martial arts, laser-gun battle for supremacy… along with some awesome performance footage of them blasting out the track. “Power Rangers was without doubt my favourite show when I was a kid”, vocalist Rob Damiani shared. “When my parents actually went through with a long threatened punishment of taking away the TV (I think because me and my brothers were fighting too much), it was the one [Read More]

Modern Error announce debut album and share new single

October 18, 2021

Modern Error have today announced that their long-awaited debut album, “Victim Of A Modern Age”, will be released on January 21st, 2022 on Rude Records. To mark the announcement, the band has released their new single, “The Truest Blue”. “‘The Truest Blue’ is a duality of audio and visual, expressing the idea of becoming absolute/ the purest version of yourself”, says Zak Pinchin. “Conceptually I wanted to paint the picture of a rebirth into a new world, one of which to reflect on the earth we all inhabit and see it what it really is. I question this life a lot, what it means to me and what it means to others. ‘The Truest Blue’ in a sense is my reflection on the human condition in a brief and instinctual sense. I feel this also translates into how Modern Error is progressing, Into a new world of its own. This song sets us up on a much more honest path sonically. Modern Error will always evolve to the intention of its name”. It is a [Read More]
