Danny Worsnop announces departure from Asking Alexandria

January 22, 2015

One of our favorite vocalists, Danny Worsnop has announced his departure from Asking Alexandria. You can check out his post via his twitter here: https://twitter.com/dannyworsnop To all of my friends and fans: I would like to let you know that Asking Alexandria and I are moving forward in separate ways. Over the last eight years together we’ve done some amazing things and created something truly special. I now, same as then, want what’s best for the band and at this point in time, that isn’t me. Asking Alexandria will continue to tour throughout the year and will be working on a new album. I will always support and love Asking Alexandria and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them. I am excited for the next chapter of my life with We Are Harlot and will see you all on the road!   Danny is a bad ass frontman as brings out an intense rock n roll presence to the stage. We look forward to the new We Are Harlot album and [Read More]

Day 4 of 12 Days of Vocalists is for Danny Worsnop

December 18, 2014

Here we are on Day 4 of our 12 Days of Vocalists and for this day, we highlight a very special vocalist, Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, We Are Harlot and solo artist.  Danny is one of those of talented artists who can tackle any style of music and completely give it his own signature style.  He kicks ass with Asking Alexandria where he can deliver some of the best growls and screams in the industry and then completely rocks when he sings for We Are Harlot. With his solo work, you wouldn’t even believe it is the same person as he takes you through emotionally driven songs with passionate vocals.  I don’t think there is anything this man can’t sing and make it sound great.  His powerful vocals have been in high demand as he continues to be featured on many bands’ songs. His versatility can have him singing country one day, emotional ballads,  hitting some of the highest notes and he can transition right into the deep dark growls and screams. Amazing work! Day 3 of 12 Days of Vocalists belongs to Gerard Way

December 17, 2014

Day 3 of our 12 Days of Vocalists belongs to Gerard Way! There is no doubt that he has has an amazing voice which blew us away during his years with My Chemical Romance. His image adorned the walls of many teens as he has an amazing way of connecting through his music.  Earlier this year, he once again reigned in the spotlight with his solo career as he toured across the country to sold out venues in support of his album, Hesitant Alien.  We caught him in San Francisco at the legendary Fillmore and it was one of the highlights of all our concerts this year. Gerard‘s stage presence is that of a dapper crooner as he took the stages in his fashionable attire and girls literally swoon over him. Gerard has brought to life the Britpop genre into his music and his infectious energy and style just might be the one to revive that genre in the music scene today. He completely grabs your attention with his performance. He has such an intense [Read More]

December 15, 2014

Today we start our 12 Days of Vocalists and for Day 1 we are pleased to announce Bret Von Dehl from The Relapse Symphony as our featured vocalist. Bret has this certain quality when he sings, where he can so easily transfer emotion with each and every lyric.  He has a passion in his voice that shines through his music and is even more intensely  highlighted in their latest acoustic release, Shadows: The Acoustic Sessions.  Bret has a way of connecting to the listener as he invites them through song to join him on a musical journey that has no boundaries, no genre limits, just simply astounding music!   We had the pleasure of interviewing Bret earlier this year as we discussed his debut album release, Shadows, which is in our top list of 2014 albums.  It was amazing to find out the lengths that he would go to, even singing in the dark, to create an atmosphere that would insure bringing out the best.  Another extraordinary quality of Bret‘s, is his stage presence.  Bret is definitely [Read More]
