Nova Twins recently released their new single “Cleopatra”, an electro-rock rush of intent that sees these fierce ladies declare: “Wouldn’t wanna be anyone but me – I’m the fucking queen”. It’s a blast of confidence born of social unrest and a standout track at the band’s recent sold-out shows.

2022 has already been a landmark year for Nova Twins. Kicking things off with a fully sold-out UK tour to receiving two nominations at the NME awards (“Best Band In The World” and “Best Band From The UK”) whilst performing with Bring Me The Horizon during the ceremony itself, Amy and Georgia are kicking down walls of conformity time and time again. The band will be playing its biggest EU headline shows in a few months, following a 7-show French tour that culminated in a sold-out Paris show last Saturday.

Nova Twins will be releasing their long-awaited second album “Supernova” on June 17th via Marshall Records. ‘Supernova’ is a piece of work that’s fearlessly itself – once again playing with genre and rich in different moods, textures, and layers, all the while retaining that purity and simplicity of the essential elements: South, Love, bass, guitars, drums, and a whole lot of energy. Ultimately, it captures the tension and release that we’ve all been through lately while imagining what’s to come. Speaking on the album, Amy and Georgia said:

“’Supernova’ is the beginning of a new era. As we delved into the unknown, making this album became our medicine through a turbulent time. It’s a reflection of where we were and how far we have come, encased in a fantasy world that we imagined. It reminds us of dreams and vibrant nightmares. You’ve got the dark things that have happened, but then also the fun and colourful light to the shade”.

“Supernova” can be pre-ordered HERE.
