The Kooks return to Bay Area with show at Fox Theater

The Kooks returned to the Bay Area with an amazing show at the Fox Theater in Oakland this past Friday, March 22nd.  The US Tour included The Vaccines and wrapped up in Oakland with a show not to be missed. The night opened with Daisy the Great which were super awesome and had a surprising amount of fans in support. The band’s energy definitely could have them headlining in no time. Being childhood friends was highlighted with their chemistry on stage. Maggie Rogers shares new track “So Sick of Dreaming”

  Maggie Rogers has just released a new track, “So Sick of Dreaming” which is off her forthcoming album Don’t Forget Me.  The third studio album is set for release on April 12th via Capitol Records and is available for pre-order now.  Check out the new song here: About the album Rogers co-produced Don’t Forget Me with Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris) at Electric Lady Studios in New York City, writing eight of its 10 songs with him and penning two alone. Shawn Everett (Brittany Howard, The War on Drugs) mixed. Slow Pulp made television debut on CBS Saturday Morning, heading to Europe in May

Slow Pulp made their television debut this past weekend as they performed on CBS Saturday Morning. The Chicago-via-Madison quartet composed of vocalist Emily Massey, guitarist/producer Henry Stoehr, bassist Alex Leeds, and drummer Teddy Mathews performed songs from their album Yard which was released last fall. Noise Pop brings Cherry Glazerr and Wombo to San Francisco

February 29th was a special day. No, not that it is leap year! It was the night that Cherry Glazerr returned to San Francisco.  Noise Pop brought us a great show Thursday  night at August Hall.  The sold out show kicked off with an impressive set from Wombo and got the crowd riled up. Check out photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan: The crowd kept up on coming in and packed the house as Cherry Glazerr hit the stage. The intensity was infectious as the band gave 150% to their fans.  There was a mighty mosh pit in the front that couldn’t help themselves as the music was just so damn inviting! The great thing about the Noise Pop festivals is that they bring a wide audience ranging in age from teens to seasoned fans.  One thing was certain everyone in August Hall was having the time of their life.
