Our Aftershock Spotlight is on an incredible band, Nothing More. Nothing More is from San Antonio, Texas and New Orleans, LA. This bad ass band definitely has everyone taking a good look at them. They are bringing a new life to alternative rock/progressive that actually has them challenging genres and sounds. Their unique sound has many turning heads and people wanting to know more about Nothing More.
We had the opportunity to talk with Jonny Hawkins – lead vocalist and Daniel Oliver – bassist for the band. I will tell you that they both also perform secondary percussions for the band at times during their shows. You may wonder what I mean but if you ever had the incredible opportunity to watch Nothing More you would know exactly what I was talking about. They put on a four guy percussion performance on their incredible solos that will leave you in awe! It is a show within a show that can rival any Vegas act with their Rock n Roll Cirque du Solei on drums. Check out some fan video footage here:
