Mayhem Fest officially kicked off with a bang this past weekend. We were able to catch the tour as it made a stop at the Shoreline Amphitheater and it proved to be a day full of non-stop hard and heavy music which was sure to satisfy all your needs. The lineup this year has a little bit of everything and we were excited to see The Devil Wears Prada out on the tour!

The Devil Wears Prada are set to release a conceptual “Space” EP on August 21st through Rise Records. This being their first official release since 2013 and is a wholly collaborative effort, with all band members – Mike Hranica (vocals), Jeremy DePoyster (rhythm guitar, clean vocals), Andy Trick (bass), Daniel Williams (drums), and touring musicians Jonathan Gering (keyboards), and Kyle Sipress (lead guitar) – contributing.  We had the chance to talk with Jeremy and Andy shortly before their set on Sunday and are pleased to bring that interview to you here:

The EP can be pre-ordered by visiting http://tdwp.merchnow.com. In addition to playing some of their new songs while they are out on tour, you can check out their track Supernova here:
