Collective Soul deliver 5 star stellar performance to the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco

November 11, 2015

Monday night at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco was a magical evening, as Collective Soul made a stop on their See What You Started Tour to the sold out venue. The tour is in support of their recently released and highly praised new album, See What You Started By Continuing. The night started off with a great set by Magnets and Ghosts which is the alternative rock band featuring Dean Roland and Ryan Potesta. I have been waiting to see them live and they were incredible. Will Turpin and The Way perform a first rate show on Stageit!

February 12, 2013

I had the pleasure of watching my first Stageit concert last week and it was an awesome one. Stageit provides live broadcasts of performers and you get a front row seat right to watch it all without even leaving your house. It was a great experience and even more so since it was Will Turpin and The Way performing the complete song list from The Lighthouse as well as a couple extra surprises.  Will Turpin, known for being the amazing bassist for one of my favorite rock bands, Collective Soul. I have probably seen Collective Soul over 25 times and I look forward to many more shows of theirs in the future. With Will’s solo project, he embarks on a journey of incredible song writing and plays multiple instruments and vocals. His style reminds me of  Ben Folds, Jason Mraz, and Paul Simon. He in no way imitates since his own style is a fusion of all the best and he is truly a talented musician that shines through his music. It is wonderful to [Read More]

The songs that no matter what mood you are in, you can listen to it and it will provide relief, comfort, energy, happiness, inspiration, courage and just about any myriad of feelings. Growing up I even had my Go To songs. I was born in 1968 and was the youngest of 6 so I grew up listening to my older siblings’ music which I am grateful for. It led me to be have a vast appreciation of all types of music including the music of my parents’ time.  When I was young preteen, I remember one of my songs being, “Fantasy” by Earth, Wind and Fire. I remember watching my older sisters getting ready for parties or going out and they would dance around and sing the song. They were so happy so it became my Go [Read More]
