Spider Rockets deliver the perfect blend of rock

I always enjoy hearing from our audience about bands to check out. Most recently I received a tip from Bill (@MetalGod41 on Twitter) to check out Spider Rockets. I had heard of this band before and was glad for the refresh from him. He included their video for “Going Down” in his message and it was awesome! Spider Rockets are from New Jersey and these rockers really kick ass. They have a very unique sound since they perfectly blend their influences of punk, rock, metal, alternative and much more. Sometimes bands with a variety of influences seem to get lost in their identity, not Spider Rockets. They have created their OWN Identity and it will have you Rockin in no time! Helena Cos is on lead vocals and she has such a charismatic energy while she sings that draws you in. Trivium unleashed themselves in San Francisco

Last week on October 15th Trivium gave a hell of a show at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco. We got there in time to see DevilDriver open up for them and they did a kick ass show as well. Then Trivium came out and just unleashed their ferocious selves on San Francisco! It was great to watch and see the action in the pit as well as everyone around. They were all having a great time. Check out a tribute video that Rockin Ryan put together to “BLACK” that includes footage and photos from the night. One thing is for sure, these four guys come out blazing and don’t stop until they step off that stage. Stage presence is spectacular as their energy is just non stop. The Charm The Fury album is a must for modern day metal fans!

Last month we introduced you to the band from the Netherlands, The Charm The Fury as our Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week. Well, we have been enjoying their debut album which was released in September, “A Shade of My Former Self”. This full length album is truly remarkable and for a debut album, packs a lot of punch! This metalcore band has been dubbed as Holland’s “best kept secret” and they are taking the world by storm with their edgy yet aggressive style. I would almost consider this album to be a concept album since it is definitely a complete work of art that tells a story and walks or should I say headbangs you into a journey. We had told you about Like Monroe a couple months ago ( formerly A Candle Lit City) and brought you an interview with vocalist, Ty Johnson, read here. Today we wanted to let you know that Like Monroe just released a lyric video for their new single “The Enemy”. Check it out here: Lead singer Ty Johnson has been quoted before as saying, “Every song for us has been about growth. We feel that we are writing our most thought provoking, yet inspiring music we have ever produced and we couldn’t be more proud”. This is one song to be proud of guys! Great job! I love this song. Fozzy set to tour with Steel Panther and Buckcherry in December!

One of our favorite heavy metal rockers, FOZZY is set to tour with the crazy Steel Panther guys and fellow rockers Buckcherry in December throughout Australia.
