VIDEO: Indie Pop Band Mike Mains & The Branches release captivating new video

February 6, 2019

Indie pop band Mike Mains & The Branches have just released a captivating new video for their melodic engaging track, Breathing Underwater. The song is off their upcoming fifth album, When We Were In Love, set for an April 5th release via Tooth & Nail Records. About the new album, When We Were in Love is an extremely personal account of the heartache experienced during a marital rough patch and the journey to rebuild said relationship. The recording process was an extremely therapeutic one for Mike, who was advised by his therapist to write songs as a way to work through his pain: “I finally felt brave enough to explore that pain, and a lot of this record feels like someone eavesdropping on my counseling sessions.”   Check out the video here: The band features a husband/wife, and you can’t help but feel the emotion they bring to life through their music, the chemistry is undeniable. ‘The founding members Mike and Shannon fell in love, married, and in doing so, minted the focal experience of the band’s subsequent music and lyrics; not just love, but the swirling highs and bruising challenges [Read More]

Check out indie alt-pop artist Dutch Party and their new track Blade Runner

August 9, 2017

Dutch Party is the creative indie alt-pop creation by Ken Franklin.Dutch Party have just released their new track Blade Runner. The infectious track is the first song of their upcoming EP Combat Pop. The self-produced EP is set to release this fall. Take a listen here:   About Dutch Party: Originally hailing from Twin Peaks in San Francisco, Ken Franklin started writing and recording music after he discovered a recording booth in a small closet beneath the stairs of his parents house, that had been hidden for decades behind a wall of boxes. Inside was a reel-to-reel tape machine, an echo box, and two guitars which Franklin soon used to experiment with different sounds and sonic textures to create his own songs. After moving to LA, Ken started indie alt pop band, Dutch Party, while living in Echo Park with the intent of adding more subversion to the American airwaves. Dutch Party creates music affectionately referred to as “pop with a purpose”.  The band has quickly found success with placements on various networks including ABC and MTV [Read More]

Get to know Eva as she is set to release her new music video for Bad For Us

August 1, 2017

Who is Eva off stage? Eva isn’t your typical, run-of-the-mill glammed-out, glitter-esque diva Barbie doll, which is what makes her such a sensation.  It should be noted that there’s a rumor—and this is just gossip at this point—but there’s a rumor that she’s planning ‘the biggest pop-up glitter party the world has ever known’ for her next single Over U…  I’m sure we’ll follow up with her about that… But who is Eva off stage?   “I’m a pop artist who is very much a real person. I’m not a super diva type, I’m relatable as a person. On stage I get glammed up and love sparkles everywhere, but off stage I’m pretty normal.”   Instant Karma’s remix of Bad For Us shows us both sides of the Hollywood coin –  made for Hollywood and made in Hollywood… What differentiates Eva from the vixen DJ duo, Instant Karma, is pretty simple, which is why they make for such a bomb collaboration.  Two colored-hair, pierced up DJ beauties jaw-dropping the crowd with their looks (and music) at swanky clubs and in-the-know parties are about as [Read More]
