Watch Kiven perform live Falling Away at EastWest Studios

July 24, 2014

Indie Rockers, Kiven have been receiving a lot of great attention on their self titled album which is filled with 13 well crafted, solid rock songs. The first single off the album, In The Fire spent nine weeks on the KROQ charts, evening topping at the number 1 spot. Today they have released a music video for their second single, I Can Take It which is one of my favorites off the album, vocally engaging and takes you on a merry go round of emotions. Another favorite is Falling Away and you can watch a video of Kiven’s live performance at EastWest Studios. Check it out here:   The album was recorded at EastWest Studios and Pie Town at MixLA and is available on iTunes, here: Kiven, comprised of Tyler Demorest, Matt Cohen, Danny Schnair and Jake Reed. When asked about the album, vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Tyler Demorest exclaims, “We spent a lot of time writing songs that were our sound and, at the same time, grew what KIVEN is. Tony [Hajjar] had a big impact on the music. It was a trip to work with someone [Read More]

Ok, no need to worry my husband, my new love is a band from Budapest, Ozone Mama and allow me to introduce you to my new flame. First, I can’t take any credit for this find, this was all the wonderful doings of my good friend, Sharon R. Frantz of Sharon R. Frantz’s World of Music. We have become online friends who share a true love and passion for music. Sharon sent me a video of Ozone Mama as they played their song, Red Hot Lovin in Budapest Park. Check it out here: This band hailing from Budapest, Hungary and they have given a fresh new facelift to the classic rock of the 60’s and 70’s. They bring out a heavier vibe and an absolutely addictive sound. I can’t get enough of them. The gritty vocals of Marton are so infectious and sultry. He brings out such a nostalgia for 70s classic rock. The guitars are sexy [Read More]
