Hard rockers Crossing Rubicon release music video

March 14, 2016

The Hard rockers Crossing Rubicon from Bristol, CT have just released a new music video for their bad ass song Unhinged. Crossing Rubicon features ex-All That Remains bassist, Jeanne Sagan and the song is off their new twelve track album, No Less Than Anything. Vocalist Scott Anarchy explains, “In a time where kids are being raised by television, smart phones, and social networking, we want to show that people – kids especially – can still find passion and empathy through music and a music scene. The world may treat you like you don’t exist, but music will always be there to speak to you and vent your frustrations, and there is always a scene of people who believe in this, and who will be there for you as well.“ Check out the video here: The album features twelve hard rockin tracks that brings the vibe of 80’s to 90’s metal to life with a modern rock flair. You are treated to heavy riffs, melodic harmonies and a punch of powerful vocals to get you revved up. [Read More]

Interview with electro-pop duo OHLAYINDIGO

March 14, 2016

We had the chance to chat with OHLAYINDO, the Scandinavian electro-pop duo who are performing at14 SXSW. They recently released a very uplifting new track, Golden Chains. Singer/songwriter Hanna Ponth shares, “‘Golden Chains’ is the kind of song we had wanted to write for a long time, but it was difficult to find the right words. It reflects on how a lot of us who come from privilege value material things ahead of what is really important. The song suggests we take our ‘Golden Chains’ and tear them off – encouraging us all to step back, and reflect on what we could do differently to better ourselves.”   Check out the track here:   Ohlayindigo is a San Francisco-based electronic pop duo from Oslo, Norway, composed of Ponth and drummer Zak Shrapnell. Ponth was selected to partake in a songwriting session with Sir Paul McCartney, based on her songwriting credentials and merit obtained while studying at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. During the session, she sang with him and he helped her work on the first single, “Love You To The Moon”, which he was very impressed by.  Music [Read More]
