An all acoustic night with Dashboard Confessional and Cory Wells at the Hansa 39 (Feierwerk) in Munich

November 27, 2019

Last week I was out for a special treat: Dashboard Confessional’s Chris Carrabba and Cory Wells – an all acoustic night. The solo acoustic tour of Dashboard Confessional was announced in early June and only one month later some of the shows have already been sold out. By the time the European/UK tour started, it was almost completely sold out. In Munich they played at a really small and intimate venue, which gave the show a very ‘friends and family’-like vibe. Cory Wells is a singer/songwriter from Redondo Beach, CA, playing mostly acoustic songs. The perfect addition to the set. By the time Cory Wells was announced as support for the tour most shows have already been sold out, so it’s hard to say how popular he already is in Germany. That night a few people have heard of him before. Safe to say that after his performance he had many new fans. The line at the merch table after the show was pretty long and he really took his time to talk with everyone. [Read More]

Sleeping With Sirens – How It Feels To Be Lost tour 2019 stops in Munich

November 26, 2019

September 6th Sleeping With Sirens released their latest record ‘How It Feels To Be Lost’. In many ways this record settles a new start for the band. It’s the first record they released through Sumerian Records. Kellin Quinn, the bands singer, struggled with depressions and alcoholism over the last years. For the new record though, he started over fresh. “I let everything go,” Kellin admits. “I wasn’t being the leader I had always been. For the last few years, I was struggling with alcoholism, depression and anxiety. I didn’t know how to turn it around or what to do. Being on the road and touring as much as we did for Gossip was really hard on me. I didn’t know if I even had it in me to write another record or get on stage and perform. Something just happened one day. I woke up, called Jack and said, ‘Hey, I want to stop drinking. I want to go into a room and write the best record we’ve ever written’. Both of those things happened [Read More]

Get ready for your mood to be lifted as Maggie Rogers releases new song

November 21, 2019

However your day is going, it is bound to get better the second you listen to the  new song from Maggie Rogers. She is not only one of our favorite artists but her music is magical as it delivers pure bliss to its listeners. Maggie recently released her new song, Love You For A Long Time. Maggie says the song is a love song for her fans. She explains,  “I actually wrote most of ‘Love You For A Long Time’ the day before I wrote ‘Light On.’” Those last days of finishing Heard It In A Past Life were such vivid and vital creative moments for me. I was dreaming up a future – for my music, for my life – and the possibilities felt endless. For various reasons, but mostly scheduling, the song was left unfinished and unrecorded, but it always stuck with me and I’ve found its melody weaving in and out of my brain for the last year and a half. Since then, a lot has changed in my life, but one of the biggest changes [Read More]

Kelsy Karter is definitely a sure bet of straight up Rock n Roll!

November 20, 2019

One thing is certain, Kelsy Karter is a sure bet of delivering straight up Rock n Roll. We never doubted it for one second. From the first time we heard it her music last year, it was like a breath of fresh rock n roll air coming through loud and clear and we wanted more! Kelsy recently released a song/video for Blast Off. Check out below more about the song which Kelsy posted on her social media pages: The Harry stunt attracted a lot of interest from labels, and the label that I personally loved the most offered me a deal. I was on a flight to England for tour when my lawyer sent me the contract from the label. There it was, all my dreams right there on that piece of paper..I was flying, literally and figuratively. But then, mid-tour, with no explanation, the deal got pulled. It messed me up pretty bad mentally and emotionally. Felt like I did something wrong, felt like I wasn’t good enough and felt like I [Read More]

Watch the video and read the official statement:     Los Angeles, CA, November 18, 2019: Almost 6 years after signing a Cessation of Touring agreement, the contract is off the table because a whole new generation of Crüeheads are relentlessly demanding for the band to come back together.     Following the release of their critically acclaimed 2018 full-length ‘IMMORTELLE,’ Say Lou Lou return today with a glittering, disco-tinged cover of Burt Bacharach and Hal David’s classic, “The Look Of Love.” The song is a delectable first offering of new music this year from the duo, and a scintillating tease of what’s to come in 2020. Speaking about the new song, identical twin sisters Miranda and Elektra reveal, “Say Lou Lou want to dance. We want to feel desire. We want to fall in love. ‘The Look Of Love’ is one of the most sensual love songs ever written. We took it to a dark dance floor somewhere where the past meets the future, and discoed til morning.” Check out the new song here:   Hailing from Sweden and Australia, twin sisters Miranda and Elektra Jansson-Kilbey found early success just out of high school. The whirlwind of excitement soon led to a feeling of disillusionment as the two were consistently obliged to compromise on their music and image. Charming music critics with their debut album Lucid Dreaming (2015), featuring wildly popular singles such as “Julian”and “Nothing But [Read More]
