Lil Lotus shares new single “Think Of Me Tonight”

June 29, 2021

Lil Lotus released his new single “Think Of Me Tonight” through Epitaph today, an explosive pop-punk song – produced by John Feldmann, who already worked with All Time Low, Good Charlotte, Panic! At The Disco and Black Veil Brides. “Think Of Me Tonight” is the opener of Lil Lotus upcoming debut record “Error Boy”, which will be released August 20th through Epitaph. The music video was produced by Pix3lface (PARTYNEXTDOOR, Mike Shinoda, Fever 333, Travis Barker). Lil Lotus comments: “’Think of Me Tonight’ is one of my favorite songs on the album. It’s funny though because it came together in about an hour. Feldmann probably worked on the track for 30 minutes, then he asked if I had anything for it. I said no, but he still told me to get in there. I did and the song came together in another 30 minutes. He said it was the fastest a song ever came together, but it turned out to be one of the sickest ones.” ERRØR BØY TRACK LISTING 1. Think of Me Tonight [Read More]

Blood Youth return with new single

June 29, 2021

Modern metallers Blood Youth have returned with a huge new single, “Iron Lung”, which was premiered last night on the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter. It’s equally brutal as it is emotive, and signals a new era for the band. Vocalist Kaya Tarsus explains the song’s meaning: “We wrote Iron Lung just before the impacts of the pandemic swept across the globe, and looking back it couldn’t have been more fitting if we tried. The song centres around having someone or something to get us through each day; “Will you breathe for me? Will you bleed for me?” We all have our own shit going on in life, and at the end of the day you’re the only person that can help yourself through it. In the video, we see this masked figure, living in his own hell and doing what he can to survive. He creates something to worship and hold on to through the darkest times”. Spotlight Artist: Fast rising rock band Lone Tree and their new single, Rude Bwoy

June 29, 2021

Time to shine the spotlight on a fast rising rock band hailing from Nairobi,Kenya. Allow me to introduce you to Lone Tree, formed in 2016 and consisting of 5 expat teens that have come together to deliver fresh new rock. The young talented musicians each bring to life their own influences and worldly styles, meshing together, to give you exactly what you need. About the band: For the first 4 years, the band was named Refuge which represented what they were all about: an escape from shallow, inauthentic music. Originally meant as a joke, it ended up symbolizing their drive for social progress as well as their origins as “development kids”. Then something changed during the pandemic. 4 years together developed their skill and creativity but being hit with the biggest challenge imaginable determined their identity and purpose as a band. They worked intensively on their sound, songwriting and the message, letting their musical influences serve as inspiration rather than dogma, and developed their own contemporary interpretation. This all happened in their home studio on [Read More]
