British death metal veterans MEMORIAM are preparing to bring their musical journey to a close with the release of their sixth and final studio album, Endgame, arriving January 29, 2027, via Reaper Entertainment.
The band has just released the first single, “Nothing More To Say,” and they are making sure this final chapter goes out with a bang.
The track delivers everything fans have come to love about MEMORIAM. Crushing guitar riffs, relentless intensity, and Karl Willetts’ unmistakable vocals are front and center. Add in the explosive drumming of Dirk Verbeuren, and you have one hell of a way to kick off their final album.
Produced by longtime collaborator Russ Russell, “Nothing More To Say” stays true to the band’s signature death metal sound while bringing an added level of aggression and intensity.
For Willetts, the song carries a much deeper meaning, especially knowing that Endgame will be their last album.
“‘Nothing More To Say’ is the first single and opening track from our final album, Endgame. For me, there is something deeply poignant about that title. Knowing this is our final album gives those words a significance that goes beyond the song itself.”
He also reflects on what MEMORIAM has meant to him over the years, describing the band as an outlet for expressing anger, grief, frustration, and hope through music.
As the band prepares to say goodbye, there is a tremendous sense of pride in everything they have accomplished and gratitude for the fans who have supported them along the way.
And while this may be the beginning of the end for MEMORIAM, they clearly aren’t going quietly.
