Today our spotlight band is on the addictive music of The Fame Riot. The band which features  the fabulous brothers, Liz Scarlett and Shazam “Tea Time” Watkins.  This will definitely be the year for The Fame Riot as they recently announced their signing to Another Century. Century Label Group President Don Robertson states, “I am thrilled to announce we have signed Tacoma, Washington’s The Fame Riot to Another Century.   Hold on tight, our Spotlight Band is going to take you on a Rockin ride!! Check out our featured band, Pröwess. They are a straight up, in-your-face rock n roll band from Charlotte, NC. They have bravely taken on the challenge of keeping rock alive as they deliver killer vocals, sweet guitar riffs, high energy rock n roll. The band was formed in 2016, but these guys definitely have a long history of rock in their soul.   Today our featured band is Smash Fashion. This is one band that as soon as you take a first listen, you will be hooked. In a time where many bands are chasing the  new sound or trying to conform to certain critiera, you come across Smash Fashion and it is pure unadulterated, addictive, rock n’ roll. They bring out this nostalgic rawness of 50’s rock and fused with a 60’s mod vibe, but in no way sounds dated. They are fresh, new and exciting. Their album, Big Cat Love has been quite an addiction for all of us here at Music Junkie Press.   Today our featured band is Bleeker which is an alternative rock out of Canada. We first discovered them as they were opening for The Struts out on their headlining tour. We were blown away by their high energy set. They have a fresh blend of music that brings together the edge of alternative, fun-spirit of pop, and kick ass rock n roll. After finishing their tour with The Struts, they will be heading out in July with Sublime with Rome and Dirty Heads.
