A chat with Xander Demos, shredder extraordinaire

As you know I love my rock and roll, but I have a special place in my heart for great shredder guitarists! Well I tell you there is one shredder that you might already know about but I want to make sure you do! He is Xander Demos and when you take a listen to him playing, you can’t help but be in awe of how his fingers just sweep that guitar. It is truly incredible. Lydia Can’t Breathe release new album and video today!

Lydia Can’t Breathe, Florida rock/metal band has just hit the road to tour with Otep. These metal fused rockers deliver catchy progressions as they blend growling and natural vocals and wrap them in forthright vocals. They have a sound that will have you wanting more. Today was a busy day for Lydia Can’t Breathe with not only the new release of their album, “Time” but they also released a video tonight for their song, “Enemies of the Night“. The Charm The Fury from Holland is our Tuesdays Travels pick

From the Netherlands, comes our Tuesdays Travels pick which is The Charm The Fury.  Get ready for some ferocious new music fronted with female screamer Caroline Westendorp. State Line Empire releases new EP Raise Your Sins

I love new releases of music. What really gets me excited is when I have a band that I found just by them being an opening act for a headliner and have them become one of my favorite bands. It is the excitement that I get when I got to a show and not know anything about the opening bands and then be treated to a true gem of music. That is what happened several years ago as I watched State Line Empire open up for Steven Adler’s then titled band, Adler’s Appetite at the Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco. Shotgun Harlot previews song from their new EP

Fault Line from Upland, California is delivering Modern Classic Rock!

Fault Line from Upland, California is delivering their new brand of music, “Modern Classic” Rock that they describe as loud/rude aggressive blus/rock n roll. What I call it is a perfect match. These guys hit the stage and they are there to ROCK YOU! I had the opportunity to catch them earlier this year as they performed at the historic Whisky in Hollywood, CA and they were awesome. I truly can’t wait for them to come up North here and do a couple shows. If not, I have no problem heading down South to catch their shows. Tonight Alive releases new video for “Coming Home”

Our Tuesdays Travels from pick from  less than a month ago, Tonight Alive just released their new video for their song, “Coming Home“.
