Check out our chat with Courage My Love as they take over the Ernie Ball stage on Warped Tour

July 3, 2014

This year Warped Tour really had a variety of bands for everyone to enjoy. Some long time favorites and some new bands. I have to tell you about how we found this next band. Rockin Ryan and I were heading to the main stage to cover a set and we were running by the Ernie Ball stage. We could hear this great female fronted rock band  and a female drummer performing and were immediately stopped dead in our tracks. We were then introduced to the bad ass rock n roll from Courage My Love. We stayed and watched their whole set. This powerful trio truly took over the Ernie Ball stage and are a must see on this year’s Warped Tour. Courage My Love features: Mercedes Arn-Horn – Guitar/ Vocals Phoenix Arn-Horn – Drums/ Vocals/ Cello Brandon Lockwood – Bass/ Vocals We had the chance to chat with Courage My Love on our next Warped Tour stop and are pleased to bring you that interview here: They are playing the full tour on the Ernie [Read More]

When you catch their set, you will know what I am talking about. You can’t help but be mesmerized by their intensity and musicianship. They are one set you don’t want to miss.  We had the chance to chat briefly with vocalist Telle Smith before he had to run off and sing guest vocals with Breath Carolina. Check out the interview here and find out what gives him energy before he plays his sets: The Word Alive will be performing on all the Warped Tour dates and make sure to check [Read More]

Letters to the Universe wants you to know that your voice matters!

July 2, 2014

When we were at the Shoreline date of Warped Tour this past month, one of the booths we were excited to stop by was the social art project Letters To The Universe. They have been spreading the word that everyone’s voice matters and deserves to be heard. In a time where, social interaction typically means texting, emailing, liking posts, etc we seem to forget to listen to the most important voice; our own.  The simple act of writing out your message, hopes, wishes, dreams can be so rewarding. It gives a value to your voice and in turn a value to yourself. Letters to the Universe is doing just that, one letter at a time and maybe you might even get to put on some wings. This year, Letters to the Universe were at one date of the Warped Tour but I hope they continue on and maybe next year, do the whole tour. So many people that day were helped by their presence there and I can only imagine what amount of good [Read More]

Check out Terror at Warped Tour for your fix of hardcore!

July 2, 2014

I love the variety of music that Vans Warped Tour brings out. Where else can you go from an EDM band to an acoustic set and then head right into the circle pit? At this year’s Warped Tour, that’s where!  If you have been craving a heavy dose of hardcore and need your fix for a circle pit, make sure to check out Terror. The long established band, Terror from Los Angeles have been delivering fierce hardcore music since 2002 and in no way has let up on their unrelenting energetic sets. Check out a video from Warped Tour’s first webcast of Terror here: Terror is Scott Vogel on Vocals, Nick Jett on Drums, Jordan Posner  and Martin Stewart on Guitars and David Wood on Bass. We had the chance to talk with Nick Jett, drummer of Terror before his set at the Wheatland Warped Tour date and are pleased to bring that interview to you: Terror will be performing on the full Warped Tour and you can find them on the Monster Stage.
