We recently told you of the news of another shake up in the Escape The Fate lineup. Monte and Michael Money announced their new musical venture, Money Brother$. These two guys have been working hard on their new music and literally taking a hands on approach to their music. Each one performing many functions and Kicking Ass while doing it. Monte Money is on Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys, Composer, Production and Michael Money is on Guitar, Backing Vocals, Composer, Production.  They have released their first single, Break Free and WOW! It is really good! You can pick it up now on Itunes, Bandcamp or Amazon. Check it out here:   Break Free has a great acoustic intro and then starts right in to some heavy signature sweep picking guitar work. Vocals will definitely draw you in as well as the bad ass precision drumming.  If this song is a precursor to what Money Brother$ has in store for us, I am damn excited!!!  We had the chance to talk with the Money Brothers and are pleased to bring you [Read More]

DRAMARAMA to play at Whisky-a-Go-Go 50th Anniversary Party!

November 16, 2013

Earlier this year we brought you an interview with one of the most influential bands of my life, DRAMARAMA. You can check ou that interview here. As I said in that post, “Music has been my passenger on my rollercoaster ride of my life, with me during my highs and there to comfort me during my lows. No matter what mood I was in, music was always there to share in the moment. So many times when someone mentions an artist or a band, I can go back and remember the first time I heard them or how I was introduced to their music. It is almost like when someone asks you about how you met an old friend or boyfriend. You always know the facts.” You can read about the first time I ever heard Dramarama. What is exciting is that Dramarama is set to play at one of The Whisky-a-Go-Go for their 50th Anniversary shows. They will be playing on Sunday, January 12th, 2014! Make sure to pick up your tickets to this incredible [Read More]

Another Lost Year release new video and it will have you begging for more!

November 13, 2013

One of my favorite bands, Another Lost Year, rockers from North Carolina have done it again! Last year, my favorite song of the year was owned by them… “War On The Inside”. It still makes me rock out and smile when it pops up on  my playlist. It is a bad ass mother f*&@ker fist pumping song!   Well I think they might have done it again. They have just released their video for their new song, “The End of You and I” and DAMN THIS SONG IS AWESOME!! Check out the video here:   The video is awesome too because you really get to see these fun guys in their element; performing. You can really tell that they love performing, the fans, and just playing music that KICKS ASS! One thing about this band is they are such hard working guys who perform non-stop. Their live shows are some of the best in the industry and I have yet to see them, which makes me soooo jealous!  I can’t wait for them to come [Read More]

Interview with SpiralArms and SF show highlights

November 13, 2013

Last Friday, we had the pleasure of catching SpiralArms as they opened up for Steel Panther at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco.  One thing about a Steel Panther show is everybody is ready to ROCK and have some fun!  So it was awesome to see Bay Area local band, SpiralArms take over the stage and literally captured the crowd. SpiralArms is a six piece band and they literally create an amazingly complete sound. With the addition of a keyboardist and second guitarist which is often missed, you really get to hear the layers in their music and it just adds so much texture and depth to their sound. They are definitely one of the hottest contemporary rock bands out there and their live performances will completely ROCK YOU!  Their unique sound might remind you of a blend of Soundgarden and Black Sabbath which is a damn good combination! SpiralArms is: Tim Narducci – Vocals/Guitar Craig Locicero – Guitar Anthony Traslavina – Guitar Chris “Cornbread” Lombardo – Bass/Vocals Brad Barth – Keyboards Ron Redeen – Drums You can check out a [Read More]
