Lzzy Hale and Tom Keifer perform “Nobody’s Fool”

September 7, 2013

Growing up in the 70’s/80’s, I listened to a LOT of ROCK n ROLL. One of my favorite bands from the 80’s was the Philadelphia based blues rock band CINDERELLA. I went to many of their concerts to just to hear the raspy, distinctive gritty voice of Tom Keifer. His vocals were incredible and always drew me to their music.  Tom had suffered some nodules on his vocal chords and at one time, left him unsure if we was going to ever be able to sing again.  Tom has succeeded in treating his issues with his vocal chords and continues to amaze us with his powerful and amazing voice. Earlier this year, Tom released his solo record, The Way Life Goes on Merovee Records (through WMG ILG) and went out on the first part of his tour in support of the album. Tom has two singles out from this spectacular album, Solid Ground and The Flower Song.  We recently brought you our interview with Tom Keifer here where you can find out more about Tom and [Read More]

Ashland Belle is “Bringin Country Back!”

September 6, 2013

When I think of Country Music Buffalo, New York is not the first place or even the 10th place that comes to my mind. But after taking a listen to the amazing new band, Ashland Belle, that has all changed. Ashland Belle has only been a band since late last year and have already created a big buzz with their new refreshing country/rock  music.  As  David Guy, the band’s lead vocalist and co-songwriter explains, “We blend today’s Alt-Country with the traditions of old Southern Rock and Country music’s past.” They recently released their appropriately titled album, “Bringin’ Country Back” and I am loving every song on it. You can head over to Itunes or Amazon to download it and let me know which is your favorite song on it. I couldn’t pick a fave since I am loving all of them! Ashland Belle is David Guy on Lead Vocals & Guitar, Josh Long on Bass and Vocals, John Rosini on Lead Guitar and Vocals and Rob Ferenc on Drums. They have  a couple shows coming up that I have [Read More]

Interview with Robb Rivera of Nonpoint & Tour Updates!

September 3, 2013

Nonpoint delivers a shot of adrenaline with every song off of their self-titled ninth studio album.  If you have been a long time fan of Nonpoint, then you know that this album captures their high energy charisma that exudes from their music.  Even though the album was released late 2012, it has been having quite a successful run with the singles off it. The first single “Left for You” had everyone take notice of this album. They had some lineup changes and in 2011 it was like the rebirth of Nonpoint. You really could feel the energetic synergy that these guys were creating and couldn’t help be drawn to their music.  You can pick up your copy at your local music store, Best Buy or head over to Itunes for download. Nonpoint has been touring quite extensively every since the release of the album and have a grueling schedule that has had them on tour across the country. They have a lot more shows too, so make sure to check out the tour dates [Read More]

An Interview with Hugo Ferreira as we discuss Tantric new album “37 Channels”

August 27, 2013

Tantric, one of my all time favorite bands have just announced they are releasing their 5th studio album titled “37 Channels”   as they sign with Pavement Entertainment. This album will definitely have you exploring their diverse range of music that satisfies all your needs. You may wonder about the title but as frontman Hugo Ferreira explains, “What goes on in my brain constantly; 37 things or channels if you will, all at once vying for my attention”. Well Hugo they may all be vying for your attention but what you do with those 37 channels is pure magic! In addition to the many featured guests such as Shooter Jennings and members of Hinder, 3 Doors Down, Saving Abel and Uncle Kracker there is as special guest vocalist on “My Turn” that you would not believe or at least I can’t!  Well it is none other than the hot Leif Garrett who spent years on my wall of my room during my teen years! As Hugo is quoted on Leif’s website:  “It’s an absolute honor to have such a iconic [Read More]
