With over 30 years of history, Seventh Son is one band that you will never get tired of hearing. Formed in 1980 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, England and performed their first gig at a “Speakeasy” in Wakefield.  Since then, they  have been delivering kick ass classic rock with a blend of heavy metal undertones. Well, if you have not heard of Seventh Son, first: shame on you!!!, second: let me open your ears to excellent polished rock that will kick your ass! Their music has everything rock, catch chorus, powerful vocals, great guitar riffs, from anthemic rock songs to stadium love ballads. Interview with John Easdale of DRAMARAMA

August 16, 2013

Music has been my passenger on my rollercoaster ride of my life, with my during my highs and there to comfort me during my lows. No matter what mood I was in, music was always there to share in the moment. So many times when someone mentions an artist or a band, I can go back and remember the first time I heard them or how I was introduced to their music. It is almost like when someone asks you about how you met an old friend or boyfriend. You always know the facts. Well, I can remember the first time I ever heard Dramarama. I literally was fresh out of high school and loved a variety of styles of music. I would rock out to RATT as we went cruising the El Camino, go to a Hank Williams Jr. concert in the summer, dance to pop music in the nightclubs, and enjoyed a lot of New Wave and Mod.  But there was this one friend I worked with name Jane but we called her [Read More]

Interview with John Waite – “Stay Well, stay in love, be happy, long life”

August 13, 2013

John Waite We had the chance to interview one of my favorite singer/songwriter, musician of all time…. The legendary John Waite.  I can’t remember when I first heard John, it had to have been as I stole my brother’s old Baby’s record and I think it was Broken Heart.  I don’t think I ever gave him back the record! I was hooked.  I continued to listen to The Babys, John’s extensive and successful solo albums and was a big fan of Bad English. A couple years ago, we had the opportunity to check out John as he played in support of his Rough and Tumble CD which I love. I am pleased to tell you that John has just released a LIVE CD; LIVE ALL ACCESS on his own label, No Brakes. It truly has exceptional sound quality and John again delivers a powerful CD that will have you playing it from start to finish. Here is our interview: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Music Junkie Press: [Read More]
