An Interview with Hugo Ferreira as we discuss Tantric new album “37 Channels”

August 27, 2013

Tantric, one of my all time favorite bands have just announced they are releasing their 5th studio album titled “37 Channels”   as they sign with Pavement Entertainment. This album will definitely have you exploring their diverse range of music that satisfies all your needs. You may wonder about the title but as frontman Hugo Ferreira explains, “What goes on in my brain constantly; 37 things or channels if you will, all at once vying for my attention”. Well Hugo they may all be vying for your attention but what you do with those 37 channels is pure magic! In addition to the many featured guests such as Shooter Jennings and members of Hinder, 3 Doors Down, Saving Abel and Uncle Kracker there is as special guest vocalist on “My Turn” that you would not believe or at least I can’t!  Well it is none other than the hot Leif Garrett who spent years on my wall of my room during my teen years! As Hugo is quoted on Leif’s website:  “It’s an absolute honor to have such a iconic [Read More]

Interview with John Easdale of DRAMARAMA

August 16, 2013

Music has been my passenger on my rollercoaster ride of my life, with my during my highs and there to comfort me during my lows. No matter what mood I was in, music was always there to share in the moment. So many times when someone mentions an artist or a band, I can go back and remember the first time I heard them or how I was introduced to their music. It is almost like when someone asks you about how you met an old friend or boyfriend. You always know the facts. Well, I can remember the first time I ever heard Dramarama. I literally was fresh out of high school and loved a variety of styles of music. I would rock out to RATT as we went cruising the El Camino, go to a Hank Williams Jr. concert in the summer, dance to pop music in the nightclubs, and enjoyed a lot of New Wave and Mod.  But there was this one friend I worked with name Jane but we called her [Read More]
