Fates Warning announce new album title, artwork, release date and tour!

  Fates Warning announces a new album “Darkness in a Different Light” which is set to release on October 1st, 2013. Here is the cover art for the new album by the US Progressive Metal band, It has been almost 10 years sine we last heard from Fates Warning with their release of “FWX“.  FATES WARNING vocalist Ray Alder checked in with a comment as follows: “Darkness in a Different Light” is the result of almost two years of very hard work from everyone in the band.  I believe that this line-up is the best that Fates has ever had, and I also think that it comes through in the music on this album. Track listing for Alter Bridge new album “Fortress”

I have been waiting for the new Alter Bridge album!! The new album titled “‘Fortress” is set to be released on September 30th in the UK, October 1st in Italy and October 8th in the United States.  Hey I may have to fly to London for my copy early! It was reported on the TheAlterBridgeNation.com website that their single, “Addicted to Pain” will be released on August 20th. If you can’t wait until then, the single will be premiered on BanditRock on August 12th. A Story Beneath releases new video for “All in My Head”

One of my favorite bands that I told you about in a post back in May  that includes an interview with Phil Goff, has recently released a video for their kick ass song, “All in  My Head” which is from their new EP Beneath the Skin, and you can check it out here: A Story Beneath is an incredible band from Santa Clarita, California. Phil Goff is on Guitar and Vocals, Toddy Libby on Bass and Keys, and Markus Flick on drums. These three guys come together with driving rhythms, melodic chords blended with some powerful rock reminiscent of Silverchair, early Tool and Incubus but they definitely have a sound of their own.  Once you start listening to them, believe me, you might not stop. Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals Make a Kid’s Wish Come True!

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals did something very special last night at their Tulsa, Oklahoma performance. They worked with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and brought up young Peyton Arens who is battling a rare form of  Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer to play with them onstage. They hooked him up with a guitar and they played the infamous PANTERA track, “WALK”.  You can check out the video for it here:   Phil posted on his Instagram a couple photos of the band playing with Peyton as well as a quick video. Black Veil Brides release limited edition shirt for Anti-Bullying Campaign

October is Anti-Bullying Awareness Month and Black Veil Brides are doing what they can to help eradicate bullying!  I have brought you stories in the past about the increase of bullying and the severity of it even leading to deaths. Black Veil Brides have created an awesome shirt that contains the lyrics, IF WE STAND TOGETHER WE WILL BE UNBROKEN,  from their song, “Unbroken“. Well I have a band that is just perfect for you, whether you plan on raising some hell, partying or just sitting back and enjoying some true rock.  Dead in 5 from Detroit is the band and they are here to please your need, with melodic hard rock fueled by Detroit muscle.  They have a sound that is a combination of anything from Soundgarden to Black Stone Cherry, to The Cult and everything in between. WARBRINGER set to release new album October 15th, IV: Empires Collapse

Los Angeles based heavy Metal band, WARBRINGER have announced the release date for their release of their next masterpiece, IV: Empires Collapse. They band has been locked away for the past few months  in The Omen Room studio with producer Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura, Symphony X).  The release date is set for October 15th through Century Media Records.
