For Day 289, we bring you DPA Microphones and how they are set to Make Music at NAMM 2017! Check out their latest new release:
—DPA Microphones will showcase its sought-after range of modular microphones and accessories at the 2017 NAMM Show (Hall A, Booth 6013). Also at DPA’s booth will be Trout Steak Revival, a Colorado bluegrass band who will demonstrate DPA mics during their performance throughout the show.
“ We are excited to return to NAMM this year,” says Anne Berggrein, Vice President of Marketing, DPA Microphones. “ The NAMM show gives us the opportunity to highlight our microphones for musicians and their instruments, including our popular d:vote™ and d:facto™series of microphones. DPA is also thrilled to bring another live musical performance to its booth, while having the chance to chat with our customers and potential users in person. The feedback we receive from this show allows us to bring new designs, upgrades and solutions to our musical customer base.”
An exciting addition to DPA’s booth this year is Colorado bluegrass band, Trout Steak Revival. The winners of the 41st Telluride Bluegrass Band Competition will be demonstrating DPA mics during their booth performances. Their most recent album, “ Brighter Every Day,” was released in March 2015. Produced by Chris Pandolfi of the Infamous Stringdusters, the album has radio play and acclaim in Colorado, throughout the U.S. and across the world.
DPA will display the company’s popular d:vote™Instrument Microphones and accessories. The d:vote™ microphone line is designed for use with every woodwind and acoustical instrument, the most popular being guitar, violin, cello and trumpet/saxophone. DPA also offers four different d:vote™ touring kits situated in sturdy Peli™ cases, with quantities of four or 10 microphones packed in a pencil case, as well as 10 or 25 mounts, respectively. The d:vote™series also offers mounting solutions that give a wider range of musicians the opportunity to use DPA mics. The AC4099 Clip for the Accordion, SM4099 Stand Mount and CM4099 Clamp Mount are the three newest additions to the now 12 instrument mounts, making it possible for musicians to record or amplify the exact sound of their performance with the d:vote™ 4099 microphone.
DPA will also feature its d:facto™ Handheld Microphone range, which is entirely modular and consists of the latest addition, the d:facto 4018VL Linear Vocal Microphone. The capsule can be removed and replaced with any other d:facto™ capsule to suit different recording or performance requirements. Also, using DPA’s flexible adapter system, the microphone can be transformed from a wired version with a handle to a handheld wireless microphone capable of seamless integration with all leading wireless solutions, such as Sennheiser, Shure, Sony, Wisycom, Lectrosonics and Line6.
