After 1 1/2 years, US Indie-Wave-Rockers Social Animals released their new song “Adults” via Rise/BMG today.
“I’ve written this song about the moment, in which you realize, that all your friends are now grown-up and you still look for a lift on Tuesday night”, comments singer Dedric Clark on the track. “Now they have something to say about it and you have to decide, wether you want to listen to it or not.”
The Duluth, Minnesota-based band stayed active through the pandemic, wrote new music, and curated shows for live streams on Earmilk, Bandsintown, Dork’s Homeschool Festival and other platforms to present their music. Before the pandemic, Social Animals have been constantly touring – they were direct support to labelmates Angels & Airwaves for US tour dates, followed by a European tour with Ash, which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the crisis. They are working on new music right now, which will be released soon.
