Hardcore-heroes Every Time I Die released their long-awaited 9th studio record “Radical” last Friday.
To celebrate the release, the band also shared a new video for the song “Thing With Feathers”.
Produced by Brandon Dermer (White Reaper, Panic! At The Disco, Diplo) the video shows the disappearance of frontman Keith Buckley and the epic performance of the band in front of the Los Angeles skyline.
Produced and mixed by Will Putney (Acacia Strain, Body Count, The Amity Affliction), “Radical” is a 16-track high-class album from ETID, alchemized by a marshy incantation of Southern Rock and rough poetry, the music whirls under sardonic and clever puns and cements the band as leaders, not followers.
Though they were inspired by the unrest and upheavals of the past five years, “Radical” concentrates more on humanity, decency, self-esteem, and even a little bit of spirituality than on politics.
“This time I concentrate on difficult matters, which are not only personal to me, they are also universal and common experiences”, explains Keith. “The songs are insofar realistic, as they approve, that things require a lot of work. But in the end it’s a very hopeful and supporting record.”
