Us at Music Junkie Press are firm believers of how music can help, inspire, and heal. It is great to see how Terra Rising Records with Beat Teams are helping to spread the power of music to those in need. What is even better, is that you can help the organization as well as enjoy an evening filled with great rock and indie music. So Denver area, get ready you are next. Terra Rising Records and LadyLake Music have a great night planned for you.
Tomorrow night, February 28th Terra Rising Records with Beat Teams will be kicking off Mardi Gras weekend with a live instrument donation event being held at the Toad Tavern. There will be some great bands performing such as: Dirty Kings, The Dead End Drivers, The Lindsey Saunders Band, Ambiance Duo, and the Treehouse Sanctum. How can you help? Bring an instrument to donate, tell your friends and have them come and bring instruments and then be prepared for a great night of fun.
The instruments donated are being collected by Beat Teams and the instruments are used to help provide more access to music education and music therapy to people of all ages and backgrounds. The instruments will be used in the area that they are collected so you are helping support your community. So, if you have that guitar sitting in the attic or the trumpet in the garage collecting dust, bring them in and help a great cause and you just might end up in the documentary which is being filmed that night.
