Emily West delivers sweet music with her new single, Bitter

May 26, 2015

Singer/songwriter Emily West creates sweet music with her delicious powerhouse vocals that is highlighted in her new single, Bitter. Bitter is the first single from her debut album All For You, available now via Portrait/Sony Music Masterworks. All For You is now available for pre-order and will be released on August 14th. Emily’s vocals carry such a depth of emotion in this new track and she has such an honesty when she sings. You can hear everything from vulnerability and innocence to self awareness as she regains her confidence after all the bitterness. What a beautiful song with emotionally driven lyrics and infectious chorus. Check out Bitter here: Emily comments about the video, “I liked the idea of mixing ‘everyday life’ with the ‘glamorous’ – glamorous with grit. With this, I had to take a lot of selfies and New Yorkers would shout out ‘Selfie!’ I’d get embarrassed but ultimately, making the video for ‘Bitter’ was a blast.”  Emily has several upcoming tour dates and we hope she will be adding some Northern California dates soon.  May 27 – Los [Read More]

Metro Station release music video for She Likes Girls and catch them out on tour

October 29, 2014

Metro Station have just released their music video for their song, She Likes Girls. The track comes from the recently released EP, Gold, which is available now on iTunes, here: http://bit.ly/1uumMP7. Regarding the inspiration for the video, Trace Cyrus of Metro Station explains, “She Likes Girls” is a song about meeting a girl and thinking she is into you but finding out she is attracted to girls. Instead of being upset she doesn’t have feelings for you it’s about supporting her because the choice she is making is looked down upon at times. The song is about doing what makes you happy in a relationship. The point of the song is to find someone that makes you happy and don’t care about anyone else’s opinion.” Check out the video here: The album was released earlier this month and have been getting some well deserved attention and praise. One thing is for sure, no matter how much time has passed, Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso once again have succeeded at creating an electro-pop supercharged musical gem.  Metro Station [Read More]

Adelita’s Way dominated The Regency Ballroom with an adrenaline fueled set

October 11, 2014

We headed into San Francisco earlier this week for The Pretty Reckless show at The Regency Ballroom. It was the fourth time I have seen them in just a couple years, so what I was really looking forward to; was seeing Adelita’s Way. The first opening band, Falling Through April was great too and I hope you check out our article on them here.  I have been waiting for a while to see them return to the Bay Area and it so happens, that they were the opener for TPR. It was 5 years ago this October, where I first introduced to Adelita’s Way. They were opening for Shinedown and the second they hit the stage, I was completely floored by their killer hard rock! Well, one thing is for sure, Adelita’s Way did it again, they actually exceeded all expectations and delivered a 150% high energetic set that rocked the Regency. This is one band that is well deserving of your full and undivided attention! Vocalist, Rick DeJesus has such an impressive presence that [Read More]

Concert Review: Black Veil Brides Black Mass Tour 2014 – O2 Academy Brixton, London

October 11, 2014

Concert Review – Black Veil Brides – Black Mass Tour 2014 – O2 Academy Brixton, London, Oct. 4th 2014 Contributed by Alexandra –  Twitter; https://twitter.com/lexi22473_b  Arriving at the venue, there’s already a big crowd lining up around the block. The end of the line reached the start and they asked everyone to get closer together, so there’s enough place for everyone to queue. With opening the doors at 7 pm, the crowd was off and started moving. People with O2 phones got in first and the rest followed through quickly. Inside, Drama Club already started their set. The steady beat of their tunes got the crowd going. Part of their set was a remix of Andy Black’s (Andy Biersacks moniker), “They Don’t Need To Understand“. If they didn’t have everyone on their side, now they had. Even though they don’t play a classic rock sound they fit in pretty good. Next on were UK residents Fearless Vampire Killers. They were obviously known to many people. Singers/guitarists Kier Kemp and Laurenence Beveridge switch singers position after a [Read More]
