Catch Black Oxygen out on their “Beating Time” USA/Canada Tour

Last year I told you about my first experience with Black Oxygen. From the moment I heard them, I was HOOKED! Here is an excerpt from that previous post: “It is Monday night and are you ready to get hooked on an KILLER Rock Band??? Sit back, relax and breathe  in the fresh new life of Black Oxygen!  Holy Shit, these guys are amazing. They have a sound that is definitely of their own and it reminds me of a blend of Stone Temple Pilots and Puddle of Mudd. Perfect way to start your week is by cranking up some of The Black Moods!

Some people dread Mondays but I love them. I love the challenge of a new week ahead, new beginnings and especially finding new music to share with you all. Today I have a great band out of Arizona, a three piece rock band, The Black Moods. How do I describe them? Well, let’s see, they have great guitar driven songs, infectious melodies, energetic vocals and an upgraded version of old school rock and roll. Imagine the great songwriting of Tom Petty meets the energy and passion of the Foo Fighters along with a side order of Collective Soul.  They are Josh Kennedy on Lead Guitar/Vocals, Ryan Prier on Bass/Vocals and Chico – Drums/Percussion. AEROSMITH & SLASH ANNOUNCE TOUR DATES and play surprise show at The Whisky a Go Go

What better way to announce the tour dates for the upcoming Aerosmith & Slash summer tour than playing a surprise show at The Whisky a GoGo in Hollywood. Well that is exactly what happened today. I was sitting in my doctor’s office as I get the tweet announcing Slash is set to perform with Aerosmith at the Whisky. I almost ran out there until I remembered I hadn’t succeeded at my teleportation transit yet! Blue October reawakens your soul with their spectacular performance on the SWAY Tour

  Last night was pretty much the highlight for me of 2014! We went out to see Blue October at the Ace of Spades, as they have begun another leg of the SWAY tour. I caught them last year as they put on a spectacular performance in San Francisco.  Every time I leave a Blue October concert, I catch myself saying the exact same thing… I never thought they could exceed how excellent they were at their last performance and every time, they prove me wrong. They hit it out of the ballpark each and every time. Last night was another one of those unbelievable sets. We arrived to a packed house on a Monday night at the Ace of Spades. One thing I love about Blue October fans, is there is no cookie cutter fan. Blue October‘s music extends across genres, generations and cultures. Consider Me Dead launche pre-orders, debut new song and announce tour dates!

It is a busy day for our friends in Consider Me Dead. Today they have launched their pre-orders for their upcoming debut LP, Young at Heart which is set for an April 8th release date. Black Label Society to headline Revolver Golden Gods Tour 2014!

The boys in Black Label Society have been quite busy lately! Just last week during the NAMM 2014 Convention they headlined the 12th annual Schecter Party at the Grove in Anaheim as well as released their new single My Dying Time. They have just announced that they will be headlining the Revolver Golde Gods Tour presented by Epiphone and is set to start on April 16th in Seattle, Washington and end on June 7th in Los Angeles, California.  Their new single is now available on Itunes, My Dying Time is off of their upcoming album, Catacombs of the Black Vatican” which is set for an April 8th release.
