Andy Black captured everyone’s attention with the release of his debut album The Shadow Side in May, released via LAVA/Republic Records. He has been busy out on The Homecoming Tour in support of his new release. This week he will be here in Northern California for a couple dates that you don’t want to miss! Andy Black released his debut single, We Don’t Have To Dance last Friday and today he has released his new video for the infectiously catchy new track. It is a great song that delivers hints of 90’s pop and swaddled in dark alternative. The song is off his debut album, The Shadow Side which is set for a May 6th release through LAVA/Republic Records. Andy Black – updates on his first record

And the news keep coming in…Andy Biersack announced the release date of the first record of his solo project Andy Black. The record will be out May 6th worldwide. It’s called ‘The Shadow Side’. The album cover was designed and executed by Biersacks longtime friend, Richard Villa III, who did all the art work for Black Veil Brides too in the past. Pre-orders can already be placed via www.andyblackmusic.com. There’s a limited edition of signed CD’s. I’m pretty sure there’s going to be a run for that. As if recording two records at the same time and a solo tour ain’t enough, Andy Biersack will also be starring in a movie called ‘American Satan’. Just shortly after revealing the first tour dates of Andy Biersacks first solo tour under the moniker Andy Black, today tour dates for North America were announced. The tour starts out May 23rd at the Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, MD and goes on throughout June. Last date will be Los Angeles, CA at El Rey on July 2nd. Andy Black tour announced for the UK

The tour so many have been waiting for, it was announced today. Andy Black, aka Andy Biersack, frontman of Black Veil Brides, announced his first ever tour dates as a solo artist. Over the last months he’s been working on his solo project with producer John Feldman. The record is already highly anticipated by all BVB fans. The release of the first song ‘They Don’t Need To Understand’ under the moniker Andy Black in May 2014, already showed the direction Biersack is choosing with his project. Check out the video here: Lots of well-known people have been guests so far during the making of the record like Gerard Way, Patrick Stump, Mark Hoppus and Matt Skiba, just to name a few.
