Andy Black releases video for We Don’t Have to Dance

Andy Black

Andy Black released his debut single, We Don’t Have To Dance last Friday and today he has released his new video for the infectiously catchy new track. It is a great song that delivers hints of 90’s pop and swaddled in dark alternative. The song is off his debut album, The Shadow Side which is set for a May 6th release through LAVA/Republic Records. You can pre-order the album by  heading over to iTunes here and you will receive an instant download of the new song.

You can check out the new video here:

The album which was produced by  John Feldmann [Panic! at the Disco, 5SOS, All Time Low] includes the talents of collaborators such as Fall Out Boy vocalist and guitarist Patrick Stump, Ashton Irwin (5SOS), Rian Dawson (All Time Low) and Joel Madden (Good Charlotte) contributed on the album as well and as a result, it’s a powerhouse debut album. Andy comments about the album,

“I am so excited to finally release my debut solo album, The Shadow Side. This record is truly a representation of my love of music and all of the influences that affected me the most in my formative stages. John Feldmann and an incredible ensemble of talented friends and guests helped me to create something that I am proud of in ways I can’t begin to describe. I hope you enjoy it!”
