Pre-Order now available for new Delta Rose album, Golden

November 18, 2014

We are getting really close to the release of the new CD, Golden from blues rockers Delta Rose. This is one album that is well worth the wait! The album is set to release on December 2nd but you can get your pre-order in NOW by visiting their website: http://www.deltaroseusa.com/. This past year it seemed that many things were said about Rock n Roll, from it being dead, or no new bands, etc. Well you can forget about all that! Rock n Roll is alive and thriving and when you take a listen to the new album from Delta Rose, you will strongly agree with me. They have such a welcoming sound that you just can’t wait to tell all your friends about them. Earlier this year, Delta Rose had the great honors of opening for Guns n Roses  at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. They delivered a top notch set and have everyone leaving the venue, knowing who Delta Rose is! They always perform a kick ass set and Delta Rose is [Read More]

Concert Review: Devilment / Motionless In White / Lacuna Coil at Backstage in Munich, Germany

November 18, 2014

Contributed by Alexandra   Arriving a bit later than usual (it was about 30 minutes before show start) most people were already inside. The crowd was pretty mixed age-wise, the average definitely older than 30 I’d say, which in my opinion resides in the main act Lacuna Coil being around for quite some time in the music business and having a fan-base that started to build a while back. 8pm was show start. There’s really not much to say about the first opener Devilment. The music itself wasn’t that bad, but you have to be into the kind of singing their vocalist Dani Filth does which is high pitched screams or low voiced growling. The crowd waited for what was about to come. Next on were Motionless In White. They already had a fan base and I’m pretty sure they gained some new ones that night. It was a very energetic set. They started out with the first single of their recent, same-titled album, ‘Reincarnate’. Their 10 song set-list consisted of songs like ‘Abigail’, ‘Break the [Read More]

San Jose gets fed a double dose of heavy metal with Judas Priest and Steel Panther

November 17, 2014

Sunday nights have really become the best night for great concerts and last night was definitely one of the finest nights in music. Northern California was treated to a double dose of heavy metal with legendary Judas Priest and the fun Steel Panther. We arrived at the City National Civic early to find a great line of dedicated fans waiting for the show. I was really excited to see that Steel Panther was opening for Judas Priest on this tour. We have had the great pleasure of seeing them over half a dozen times and they still hold top honors for the funnest concert ever attended. Before the show we were able to interview Michael Starr and Lexxi Foxx and we will be bringing that hilarious interview to you later this week. Steel Panther put on an awesome set that fired up the crowd and insured that everyone was having a great time. Even those that were not familiar with Steel Panther and might have at first found their humor which some may consider “off [Read More]

The Bad Suns release powerful new video for their infectious song, Salt

November 14, 2014

The Bad Suns from Southern California just released their new video for their song, Salt. It is an amazingly powerful and impressive video. The song has a great uptempo uplifting vibe and yet carries such depth through the dark lyrics. The video truly brings those lyrics to life as it takes you on a tumultuous journey through a young transgender eyes as he struggles with gender identity. It is such a great video that I absolutely love! Check it out here: The song is off their debut album, Language and Perspective which was released earlier this year. You can head over to iTunes here and pick it up. Bad Suns will soon be announcing dates for their headline tour of 2015 and I can’t wait to see them again. We caught them last month as they opened for New Politics at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco. In case you missed it, you can check out the photos from our Rockin Ryan of their set: Make sure to check the dates below and see if [Read More]
