Asking Alexandria at Regency Ballroom in San Francisco for the 10 Years In the Black Tour

December 7, 2016

Asking Alexandria have just wrapped up their last date on the Sumerian Records 10 Years in the Black Fall headlining tour!  The tour featured Born of Osiris, I See Stars, After The Burial, Upon A Burning Body & Bad Omens. We had the chance to catch them perform at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on December 4th. It was incredible to see Danny Worsnop return to the stage and he took us on a trip down memory lane, sharing stories about the songs from their albums. The tour celebrates 10 Years that Asking Alexandria has been with Sumerian Records and we look forward to many more. The band sounded the best they have in a long time as the pieces of the puzzle were brought back together to bring out their kick ass signature sound. It is no doubt that many will consider it to be one of their best shows. Check out photos of their set by our Rockin Ryan:     You can also watch a couple songs from their set here: Make [Read More]

Kick ass rockers THEM EVILS release video for their track Untold

December 6, 2016

Today is the final day of tour for bad ass rockers, THEM EVILS.  They will be finishing up their tour with The Pretty Reckless and Holy White Hounds with a show at The Mayan Theater in Los Angeles. These guys have been bringing their high energy, old school fuzz rock to the stage with their vintage give, huge riffs and powerful vocals. They have just released a video for their track, Untold, which is off their EP Them Evils that was released earlier this year. Check out the video which was created by Ryan Ewing here: Jordan Griffin when disccusing the story behind the song said “Everyone goes through hardships in life and most people feel empathy for others.   I certainly do.   But no one knows, exactly, how you or that person feels because those feelings are personal and have specific memories and bonds that no one else has experienced.   As much as you explain how your sould feels, not a single person will feel the way you do, as we are all individuals.” [Read More]

Interview

Interview with RADKEY as they delivered a fierce punk rock set in San Francisco out on their tour!

November 23, 2016

One band I am truly thankful for…. is Radkey! Holy shit, they have blown me away and I am hooked on them.  We recently brought you the coverage from their San Francisco show at Neck of the Woods with The Fame Riot. The night was great and Radkey  WOWed us with their stellar set. They are truly a punk rock phenomenon that has to be heard! I must tell you, that I was grinning ear to ear from start to finish watching them perform. It has been a long time for me since I stood in amazement as I knew I was witnessing this incredible band, and I might not have the chance to experience them in such an intimate venue again. They are destined for a bright future as they remind me of the early days of  Misfits, Ramones, or Nirvana. The band features three Radke brothers, Dee  on guitars/vocals, Isaiah on bass/vocals and Solomon on drums. They are a mighty three that will blow you away with their music. We had a chance to [Read More]

Electronic Rock

Interview with The Fame Riot as they bring nasty beats and truthful melodies to the stage out on their tour!

November 23, 2016

We recently brought you our coverage of The Fame Riot as they performed in San Francisco along with Radkey at the Neck of the Woods. It was quite a show and what will be a rare treat to catch these amazing bands in an intimate venue setting. I completely believe that it won’t be long that they will be playing large capacity venues as they explode onto the music scene. The Fame Riot features brothers Liz and Shazam. They truly are incredible and dish up “feel good” music that has you dancing and letting go of any concerns or stress. Their music brings out a nostalgic vibe of 70’s glam/rock as well as the infectious style of 90’s alternative/dance, and a heaping side of modern day electro pop. You can’t just box them into any one genre, as they defy the boundaries and have successfully created their own unique style of music, complete with a dazzling fierce fashion style. We had a chance to chat with Liz and Shazam ahead of their performance at the Neck [Read More]
