Asking Alexandria release video for “Killing You”

November 5, 2013

Today English heavy metal band, Asking Alexandria release their new video for “Killing You” Their last video for their single,  “The Death of Me” was awesome and we even had an interview with Erin Johnson, one of the women in the vending machines. You can check out that interview here. This video is much more insane and after watching, you might think they were filming a Saw sequel.  So lock up the kids and get ready for some craziness. Here you go: You can also check out another video which Rockin Ryan put together for my favorite song off their new album, “Moving On”. It includes photos and footage from their set at Aftershock Festival.  Make sure to also check their social media sites for updates on tour dates. ~ Marisol Information & Links: Website: www.askingalexandriaofficial.com  Facebook: www.facebook.com/askingalexandria Twitter: www.twitter.com/AfuckingA Danny Worsnop Twitter: www.twitter.com/Thedannyworsnop James Cassells Twitter: www.twitter.com/JamesAFuckingA Ben Bruce Twitter: www.twitter.com/BenAFuckingA Cameron Liddell Twitter: www.twitter.com/CamAFuckingA Sam Bettley Twitter: www.twitter.com/SamAFuckingA Sumerian Records Pre-Order: www.merchconnectioninc.com/collections/asking-alexandria

Lynam releases lyric video for new song “Halfway to Hell”

November 5, 2013

You may already know how much I LOVE LYNAM but I need to restate the fact again!  Last year we had the pleasure of interviewing Jacob Bunton to discuss  his work with Adler. You can read that post here. Jacob has some of the most unique and breathtaking vocals in the rock industry today! I swear he could melt ice with those vocals…. HOT! HOT! HOT! I told you last month how, Lynam has recently recorded a new ablum “Halfway to Hell” that is set to release in November and I can’t wait for it. In addition to touring, they have just released their lyric video for their new song, “Halfway to Hell“.  This song is just so intensely rockin! Take a look and I am sure it will soon become one of your faves:   If you really want more, head over to their Youtube channel and you can watch some live Lynam from their recent shows. They put on such a great show and I hope they come out here soon! Here is [Read More]

NiteRain from Norway is our Tuesdays Travels Pick of the Week

November 5, 2013

This week, I have incredible ’80s inspired rock band from Oslo, Norway as our Tuesdays Travels Pick.  They are NiteRain and they have an amazing sound. Their music reminds me of catching early Motley Crue out on the Sunset Strip in the ’80s.  Early Vince Neil style vocals, Kick ass guitar riffs, slamming bass and energetic drums. Together you have the intense rock n roll of NiteRain. Check out this teaser from NiteRain:   NiteRain is Adrien Persen on Guitar, Sebastian Tvedtnaes on Vocals, Morten Garberg on Drums and Frank Karlsen on Bass. They have been known to have explosive stage presence and deliver high velocity sleaze rock. These guys are definitely in the running to take over the glam sleaze rock scene! They have had great success in touring with L.A. Guns across Europe and we hope they come out here to the US soon. Their glam infused rock is just as contagious as their fierce energy and is something we need. NiteRain is releasing their album Crossfire on November 15th worldwide and will [Read More]

The Goldbergs Show get picked up for a full season, Totally Wicked!

November 4, 2013

Yes, I know we mostly feature Music on here but I have to share the great news about my new favorite show! The Goldbergs has just been picked up for a full season and you know what, they do play some killer ’80s songs on there so it is music oriented! The days of the family sitcoms disappeared long ago. Reality TV seemed to take it’s place as well as the 20+ different CSI style shows. I do not have any regular shows I watch or feel compelled to watch on a weekly basis. Growing up in the ’80s family sitcoms were like dinners around a table. You just did it and you did it as a family. Friday and Saturday nights for me were spent with my family watching Love Boat, Fantasy Island and Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley. I loved those times. Well, guess what? The family tradition of watching a television show together, something that we can all enjoy, is back. We have been watching The Goldbergs together and it is [Read More]

November 1, 2013

It is Friday  night and it is time for Rock n Roll and time to PARTY, right?? You can check out the new video released by Steel Panther for their Rockin song, “Party Like Tomorrow Is The End Of The World” but be warned…. 18+ please! If you are not familiar with Steel Panther don’t watch if you think you are just going to see an ’80s rock style band with a cool video. Steel Panther may be completely politically incorrect but I will admit…. I LOVE THEM!!!  This video contains nudity, profanity, sex, drugs and rock and roll.   But what else would you do on the eve of the world ending??? So check it out….   So now that you LOVE that song, you can pick it up on Itunes here. We will be catching Steel Panther next Saturday at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco.  So we will bring you more details next week.
