New video from Light Up the Town from Austria puts them in the spotlight

February 26, 2016

A favorite band of ours from Austria, Light Up The Town have just released their new video for their incredible track, In The Dark. The video captures the youthful energy of the band and delivers an infectiously catchy song that you will be soon singing. They bring to life an edgy alternative pop rock style, all the while highlighting powerful vocals and fierce guitars. Check out the video here: From the first time I heard them last year, I was hooked on their pop/rock/alternative sound. I have said it before and I strongly believe they would be a well suited candidate for a Warped Tour. If not, we have to get them out here to tour the States. Light Up The Town is: Esther Hütter – Vocals Thomas Kern- Bass David Vass – Rhythm Guitar Stephan Roth – Lead Guitar Daniel Weidinger – Drums Make sure to visit their social media sites and stay up to date on their latest news. This is definitely a band to watch out for! ~ Marisol Information & Links: Website: http://www.lightupthetown.at/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lightupthetownmusic Twitter: https://twitter.com/Light_uptheTown Instagram: http://instagram.com/light_up_the_town

Check out the uplifting new song from electro-pop duo OHLAYINDIGO

February 25, 2016

The Scandinavian electro-pop duo OHLAYINDIGO have just released a very uplifting new track, Golden Chains. Singer/songwriter Hanna Ponth shares, “‘Golden Chains’ is the kind of song we had wanted to write for a long time, but it was difficult to find the right words. It reflects on how a lot of us who come from privilege value material things ahead of what is really important. The song suggests we take our ‘Golden Chains’ and tear them off – encouraging us all to step back, and reflect on what we could do differently to better ourselves.”   Check out the track here:   Ohlayindigo is a San Francisco-based electronic pop duo from Oslo, Norway, composed of Ponth and drummer Zak Shrapnell. Ponth was selected to partake in a songwriting session with Sir Paul McCartney, based on her songwriting credentials and merit obtained while studying at Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. During the session, she sang with him and he helped her work on the first single, “Love You To The Moon”, which he was very impressed by.  They are heading out to SXSW and you can catch them at the [Read More]
