Blues rockers Delta Rose announce hiatus, interview at NAMM 2016

One of our all time favorite, favorite bands, Delta Rose has announced an indefinite hiatus. They announced the hiatus on their Facebook page with the following post:

It has been a great ride with Delta Rose, but for now, the ride is over. We have decided to take an indefinite hiatus as a group, and to pursue other directions individually. This is not a reflection of our great friendship, but an interest in attempting something new. We appreciate all of our fans who have supported us along the way and will forever be grateful for you. There is no way to articulate how much we love you all, and we hope that you will support us in our new ventures. Thank you!!! \m/

I absolutely love this band and yes, it will be sad to not hear them play together but I am also very excited for what is in store for these talented musicians. These guys have a great friendship and have been some of the best guys in the business. We look forward to supporting each of them in their future endeavors. As the great Dr. Seuss once said,

“Don’t Cry because it’s over, Smile because it happened”

We were honored to have Delta Rose our first ever Music Junkie Press Get Your Fix show. They killed it that night with their incredible performance. Their blues infused rock is sweet food for your soul. You can’t help but feel good when you listen to them. Their cover of I Am The Walrus will be one to go down in the books as my favorite cover! Their set included all of my faves like Golden Umbrella, Hot Hand Honey, Chew Me Up and a great new song, Through The Night. Check out some photos from that night by our Rockin Ryan:
