August 21, 2015

Earlier this week, we were treated to a night of non stop rock n roll with four great bands taking over the legendary Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, CA. The “Get Your Fix of Rock n Roll” show featured epic sets by Faith and Bullets, Sweet Addiction, Delta Rose and Diamond Lane. These hard working rockers are truly doing their best to keep the rock scene alive and delivering incredible ROCK MUSIC at the same time. The night kicked off with a set from Faith and Bullets out of Manteca. This up and coming young band have been garnering attention for their thirst of rock and roll and their determination in keeping the scene alive. Their set not only included their new track Revolution  which is a call for us rockers to rise up and ROCK! Also a bad ass new song, No Fear and my personal fave, Can’t Stop Me Now. In addition, they also rocked a sweet cover of Santa Cruz’s Wasted and Wounded and Ratt’s You Think You’re Tough. Check out some photos: Next up was Sweet [Read More]

Interview with fire-driven rockers, Red Sky Mary as they stopped in San Francisco

August 12, 2015

Last year we featured an awesome new band, Red Sky Mary from New Hampshire and we have been anxiously awaiting their arrival on the West Coast. Well last week, they made a stop at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco for the Smokin Hot Tour with Texas Hippie Coalition. We made sure we we were not going to miss them. They blew us with their signature sound that fuses 70’s classic rock with modern hard rock and a flash of blues.  They have energy, charisma, smoking guitar riffs, and vocals that will have you in lust with them! We had the chance to chat with the band shortly before their set at the DNA Lounge and you can check it out here:   They rocked the crowd and played our favorites from their debut album, River Child which was released earlier this year on Carved Records. You can pick up their new album on iTunes here. Here are some photos by our Rockin Ryan of their set at the DNA: We are already hoping they [Read More]

Interview with The Delta Saints and catch their epic rockin blues set out on tour!

August 10, 2015

We recently brought you some information about the infectious music of Nashville blues rockers, The Delta Saints. We were able to catch their set last night at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley. The venue is ideal for capturing a band that delivers such energy and emotion when they perform and that is exactly what The Delta Saints did last night. We had the chance to chat with vocalist/guitarist and bassist, Ben Ringel and David Supica before their set and are pleased to bring it to you here: The Delta Saints kicked off the night with a set of swampy blues rock that would invigorate you and awake your soul. I have enjoyed their CDs but they truly take it to another level when you watch them perform. They dig deep and give every last bit of energy and emotion into each song. Ben’s vocals carry such a depth of emotion along with the swampy grooves on keys, blistering guitars, funktastic bass lines and on point hard hitting drums. What I love about their performance is [Read More]
