Steel Panther’s new album ALL YOU CAN EAT is a face melting, panty drippin, baby makin album!

We have all been waiting anxiously for the new album All You Can Eat by Steel Panther and the time is almost among us! Only two more weeks to go!!! Well, I have to tell you a secret, I got to hear the new album today and have to say one thing…….. HOLY BALLS! THIS ALBUM IS FUCKING AWESOME!! It has everything you could want in rock and metal from anthemic rock songs, arena size ballads, blazing guitars, great harmonies, power house drums, sexy bass lines and those 80s style vocals that we can’t get enough of. There are some bad ass guitar solos, smokin riffs, catchy choruses, I just can’t tell you how epic this album will be.  The songs are fun and infectious and you can’t help but love them. Definitely a party album for any night of the week.  If they had a panty meter for this album, it would be a full on soaking wet one for this new album!  We will have to watch out for the next baby boom [Read More]

Switchblade Serenade upcoming shows and quick chat at NAMM 2014

One of our favorite rock bands,  Switchblade Serenade have announced several upcoming shows. We have featured Switchblade Serenade several times on Music Junkie Press and were also one of our Top 12 Bands You Have to Know.  If you are lucky enough to be in the East Coast area, I would suggest you drive, fly, walk or crawl your way to one of their shows. KXM release self titled debut album that will have you begging for more

Now and days many musicians have side projects or are in several bands at the same time. We all remember the time, when side projects could signify a band break up or member replacements but now, it is a welcome change. For many passionate musicians time spent off the road or not recording, can cause them to be a bit stir-crazy. Sometimes you just have to unleash your passion and create the music.  I love finding out about new bands whether they are new to the scene, supergroups or a one-off side project. One new supergroup that have successfully harnessed their passion and created a MUST HAVE album, is KXM. KXM  is comprised of dUg Pinnick (King’s X), George Lynch (Lynch Mob/Dokken) and Ray Luzier (Korn). Like Monroe signs a record deal with Good Fight/Entertainment One Music!

  We are excited to share with you some great news about one of our featured bands, Like Monroe have just announced they have inked a record deal with Good Fight/Entertainment One Music. Guitarist, Chris Deckards says, “We are excited and honored to join the eOne / Good Fight family. This is honestly a dream come true for all of us and we can’t wait to share our music with the world.
