EXCLUSIVE Interview with Joey Roxx of Burn Halo as we discuss their new singer

July 1, 2016

We were so excited to catch Burn Halo last Friday night at the Boardwalk as they kicked off their Wolves of War Tour.  It was also a very special evening as it was the official debut of T.J. Chopelas as the new vocalist. We are familiar with T.J. from his work with Trackfighter and he is a great singer. You might not know but several years ago, Burn Halo toured with Trackfighter and New Medicine. We saw them back on that tour, and it was nice to see T.J. T.J. was great on vocals as he brought his own style to the Burn Halo songs and took the reigns as their frontman.   One thing is certain, the band was on fire that night, fueled with a renewed energy that highlighted the passion for their music. Johnny Bad Bones on drums was ferocious as he delivered a savage drum solo.  Ryan Frost on rhythm guitar was spinning his guitar and jumping around, owning the stage.  Joey Roxx is a madman on his guitar, as he [Read More]

Burn Halo announce new tour dates and welcome new lead singer

June 7, 2016

Burn Halo are ready to hit the road again for Wolves of War Tour. This time they will be heading out with a new lead singer. Today they announced their new lead singer, T.J. Chopelas on their Facebook Page: After many tough conversations and careful consideration, we have decided to move forward without our frontman James Hart. As a band, we want to continue to tour and make albums on a full time basis. Where James is at in his life and career, he was no longer able to make the same commitment the rest of us were willing to make. We completely understand and respect his decision to step away and have his full support to continue on with Burn Halo. Our long time friend T.J. Chopelas will be taking over as the new lead singer for Burn Halo. We are excited for the future and looking forward to seeing all of our fans on the road this summer. We love you all and appreciate your continued support. I understand how hard it is [Read More]

Alien Ken, new album “Change is Constant” is a must have for rockers!

March 21, 2016

Alien Ken is back at it with a new album, Change is Constant which is the follow up to his debut Contact which was released in 2014.  The new album is a full on straight up bad ass ROCK ALBUM! There is no smoke and mirrors, gimmicks or bandwagon songs, this is one complete album that will ROCK YOU. The mysterious and eccentric Alien Ken from Zeta Reticculi/Norway first captured our attention with his debut album and now has us completely hooked with his new songs. The album kicks right off with Dualstar that draws you in with the powerful gritty vocals and fierce guitars. Check out the video for the track which was recorded in Frog Leap Studios by Arvid Tjelta:   Concrete Plastic starts off with a punk angsty intro and then catapults into commanding vocals, chunky guitars and fist in the air rock. Veni Vidi Vici is one of my personal faves and has a sweet blues feel dipped into smoking guitars and high energy. Third has a theatrical dark feel and really [Read More]
