Polaris announce headliner tour through Europe/UK in May

Sidney metalcore band Polaris just announced a headliner tour through Europe and the UK in May 2020. They will be joined by Alpha Wolf, Currents and Varials. Tickets will be on sale Thursday, January 16th at 11 am CET. Their long-awaited second record ‘The Death Of Me’ will be released on February 21st through Sharp Tone Records. It’s been two years since Polaris released their ARIA-nominated, Top 10 debut, The Mortal Coil. Thanks to an extensive international touring schedule, it introduced the group to legions of fans all around the world. For the recording of The Death Of Me the band returned to the house in the small South Coast town of Mollymook, where they made The Mortal Coil, converting it into a temporary studio. Accompanying the band was their front of house sound engineer, Lance Prenc and long-time friend Scott Simpson (of Alpha Wolf), both of whom co-produced the album with the band. Cory Wells shares new single and announces album-release

Acoustic singer/songwriter Cory Wells released a brand-new song today. ‘Wildfire’ is taken from his upcoming full-length debut album ‘The Way We Are’, which will be released through Pure Noise Records on November 15th. ‘Four years in the making and I cannot be more proud of this collection of songs” shares Wells. “It portrays sadness, anger, despair, happiness, uncertainty, regret, and so much more.  It’s my life. It’s your life. It’s about what it’s like to be human.  Without the bad, the good would mean nothing. It would just be normal. MUSIC NEWS: Powerful and crowd-pleasing set by Myles Kennedy at Slim’s in SF

Myles Kennedy is out on his solo tour in support of his album, Year of the Tiger. The tour made a highly anticipated stop in San Francisco Saturday night at Slim’s. The venue was packed and ready for a great night of music. The night kicked off with a spectacular performance by Thomas Wynn and the Believers. Siblings Thomas and Olivia filled the venue with their powerful vocals that captivated the crowd. A couple of my favorite tracks of their set were I Don’t Regret, Heartbreak Alley, and the title track of their latest album, Wade Waist Deep.
