Blood Youth have released another brand new track, titled “Colony3”. Earlier this week, vocalist Kaya Tarsus announced his impending departure from Blood Youth and that the two Slam Dunk Festival shows will be his last performances with the band. Weatherstate blast off in new single/video “Current Dose”

Weatherstate are back with a brand new single and music video. The Weymouth punk band has today shared “Current Dose,” an exploration of space, time, and riffs produced by Alan Day (Four Year Strong). “It was actually one of the first songs we wrote for the new record and the first we worked on with Alan Day,” the band shares. “It’s one of the grittiest songs we’ve written to date. We ended up tuning the guitars super low on one side and leaning into the riffs with Alan. “The bridge section is just noisy nonsense, we ended up stealing an idea from Nirvana’s Drain You and started spraying deodorant cans into microphones in the studio. Defences announce new album and share new single “False Gods”

Hertfordshire based Alternative-Metal band Defences announce their new album “In The Balance”, which will be released October 15th, 2021. The band also revealed the rough, beautiful and confrontative new single “False Gods”. “In The Balance” is a snapshot of experiences, that Cherry Duesbury made over the last years. She looks at the unavoidable difficulties of a global pandemic as well as different cultural key events. “We wrote this because we had to”, Cherry explains. “In The Balance” is the result of the search of Defences for hope in the harsh realities of life, which they approach head-on, to find positivity.  “A great amount of the lyrics are based on inner fights”, co-vocalist William Alex Young explains. The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die have announced that their fourth studio album, Illusory Walls, out digitally October 8 and on vinyl December 3 via Epitaph Records. Illusory Walls comes four years after the Connecticut-bred collective’s 2017 release Always Foreign. Taken from the unlikely source of the video game Dark Souls, the album’s title; Illusory Walls “refers to a hidden surface that seems to prevent entry, but upon inspection is nothing more than a visual illusion,” vocalist/guitarist David F. Bello. The process for Illusory Walls took about a year, written and recorded remotely between the bear-filled woods of Connecticut & the streets of quarantined Philadelphia – a first for the band – due to the coronavirus pandemic.
