Heaven's Basement makes quite an impression on San Francisco!

Last month we told you how UK rockers Heaven’s Basement really stole the show at the Ernie Ball stage during the Aftershock Festival. You can read more about that here. Well this past weekend, Heaven’s Basement made their debut appearance in San Francisco at Slim’s where they were performing with The Pretty Reckless and Louna.

The lineup alone was incredible as it had British, American and Russian bands touring together on the Going to Hell Tour and they really put on quite a show. Shortly before their set, we had the opportunity to interview Sid Glover and Aaron Buchanan as they told us about what other countries they look forward to touring next. We are pleased to bring you the interview from Slim’s right here:

Heaven’s Basement truly has an incredible electrifying stage presence. These four guys give a 150% of themselves out on that stage and it continues from the first note to the last song. It is amazing to watch as they must high octane adrenaline running through those veins. Aaron definitely has an amazing talent to please the crowd. His charismatic energy is contagious as the crowd just went wild and he even did some crowd walking which if you have ever been at Slim’s is a rarity to see! Rob Ellershaw on bass not only gives us his smoking basslines but at the same time, he is so in sync with Chris Rivers on drums as they are throwing sticks back and forth without missing a note or a beat. They are a great team together. Sid to the right of the stage, delivered intensity and blistering guitars as the crowd went wild for him. Together, they gave an incredible performance and whether people went in for The Pretty Reckless or Louna, they were all leaving as Heaven’s Basement fans.

During their U.S. tour, Heaven’s Basement has had the pleasure to see their blazing single, “Fire, Fire” rise up the Active Rock Charts. Most recently, it has come in at No. 11 and I think it is definitely not stopping there, and will climb into the Top 10. Their album, “Filthy Empire” is full of hits and is one of those albums that you listen to from start to finish with no fillers. “I Am Electric” has recently become my Go To song to get amped/pumped up and then of course the rockin song “Heartbreaking Son of a Bitch”. Another highlight of the album is the bluesy rock song of “Lights Out in London”. This album really is a great treasure and you will soon have it on replay in no time.
