Here at Music Junkie Press everyday is Record Store Day, as it should be everywhere! But for those who have forgotten how great a vinyl sounds and the feel of it in your hands, there is one day a year which is a call for all to celebrate vinyl. This Saturday, April 18th is Record Store Day and where you should get out and support your local record stores by picking up some much needed vinyl!
The Front Bottoms and GDP have teamed up for a Split 7″. The four song 7″ will be an extremely limited edition, only 2,000 copies and available on Record Store Day. This will be one amazing find if you are lucky enough to get one in your hands. The Jersey 7″ special highlights the ‘ cross fertilization of musical ideas from these New Jersey natives.’ GDP delivers a dose of rap with Limousine and Parking Garage.
The special treat for me is Wolfman and Handcuffs from The Front Bottoms as they once again deliver their signature sound that defies all genre boundaries and invokes intense pleasure!
