While She Waits inks a deal with TMG Records for their new album

While She Waits joins the TMG Records family.

It has only been a couple months since I first introduced you to the awesome new rock band, While She Waits from Phoenix, Arizona. In that short amount of time, so many great things have been happening for them. They just recently announced inking a record deal with TMG Records. Their new album is planned to hit major music retails such as Walmart, Best Buy, etc by the end of this year.

Luke Johns, TMG Records A&R representative, explains what caught their ear about the band, “What stands out to us about WHILE SHE WAITS is their great alternative and classic rock sound, but more than anything, we love their energy. We get hundreds of submissions every week from bands wanting us to check them out, but what’s really unique about WHILE SHE WAITS, beyond what we normally hear and even beyond what’s popular right in hard rock right now, is that their music hits hard and never stops. The music is intelligent, well written and really draws you in with how catchy it is.”

That is so true in many ways. When I first heard them I was immediately drawn to their refreshingly unique and energy driven sound. I am really excited about this new album and have confirmed that it has been completed and sent to the label and they are working on the art work. We will have to wait for details on the title and release date. This is going to be a hard one to wait for but thankfully they are playing some shows around here on the West Coast so we can get our music fix from them.

22 – Las, Vegas, NV – LVCS this will be in support of Smile Empty Soul
23 – Glendale, AZ – Kimmy’z on Greenway
30 – Hollywood, CA – The Whiskey A Go Go this will be in support of Soil

So now you have to get yourself to a show and experience their hard hitting, never stoppin’ ROCK! You can then get to see why this band has some of the most dedicated fans around. Lead Vocalist, James Cole had this to say about their fans, “Our fans are everything to us. We have made a pact to always stick around until every person can be met when possible. Without fans we have nothing”. It is this type of dedication that will continue to pave a great path for this band.
