Interview with our BottleRock Napa Spotlight Band: New Politics at their Fillmore headlining show

March 16, 2018

One thing is certain, New Politics are the must-see band of this year’s BottleRock Napa Festival. From the moment we heard they would be on the lineup, we were excited for everyone to catch their performance. It was nearly eight years ago when I was first introduced to New Politics. They were an opening band for The Spill Canvas at Slim’s in San Francisco and ten seconds into their set, we were blown away. They gave us a performance that raised the hairs on our neck, full on non-stop energy and intensity.  Fast forward to 2018 and New Politics still succeed at delivering that level of intensity and magic on stage. We recently caught their return performance at the legendary Fillmore for their headlining tour in support of their new album, Lost In Translation. It was another magical evening as their stage presence electrifies the crowd and everyone is instantly infused with bliss. Check out some photos from their set by our Rockin Ryan: Need more New Politics, check out our slideshow: The Lost In [Read More]

Check out the new song from New Politics off upcoming album Lost In Translation

August 2, 2017

Exciting news to share from New Politics.   New Politics have announced they will be releasing their new album Lost In Translation on October 6th. We have already been hooked on their new song, One of Us and now you can check out the next new track! New Politics have posted the following news:   Lost In Translation represents a new phase in our lives. After years of constant touring, it was important to us that we reinvent ourselves, and wanted to write honest songs about the real things happening in our lives. We spent a lot of quality time together in-between albums as friends, watching movies, hanging out, and talking about our future plans. That brotherly love and bonding initiated the first batch of songs that has helped us shape the album. A lot of the songs are about personal experiences and the things every human goes through and it was nice to let go of the rules we had laid out for ourselves. It’s a new era for all of us, and we’re proud [Read More]
