One of our favorite bands from this year’s Warped Tour was Courage My Love. We are excited as they are gearing up to set out on their headlining tour this fall, The Lost Causes Tour. Circa Survive release music video for Schema and catch them out on tour!

Circa Survive are gearing up to head out on tour with with Title Fight and Pianos Become The Teeth. To get you ready, today they are premiering their music video for Schema which is the first single off their upcoming album, Descensus which is set for a November 24th release through Sumerian Records. Like A Storm return to San Francisco with a spectacular crowd pleasing set!

From the first time I saw Like A Storm perform as the opening act for Alter Bridge in 2011 at the Regency Ballroom, I knew this was one band to watch out for. They just had the most amazing energy and a stage presence well beyond their young years. Fast forward to 2014 and they have really become one of the bands to truly take over 2014. They have been busy doing some non stop touring and still have more dates ahead. Well this past weekend it was a déjà vu moment as Like A Storm returned to San Francisco as support for Alter Bridge. This time they took the stage at the legendary Warfield Theater. It was a packed house and once again Like A Storm came out and delivered a non-stop energetic set that had everyone know who they were! UPON THIS DAWNING deliver a heavy well needed dose of metal to San Francisco at the DNA Lounge

Last night everyone in San Francisco was going wild over watching the SF Giants in the World Series except for us at Music Junkie Press. We were at the exact place we wanted to be…. at the DNA Lounge for the fierce set of Upon This Dawning! We have been waiting for this show and were so excited to catch their set. Upon This Dawning are from Italy and bring a heavy dose of metal sprinkled with orchestra elements/EDM. What you are given is the perfect blend to head bang or keep you moving on your feet. The show was held at the Above DNA stage which is great for harnessing the energy of the intimate room and on this night, you couldn’t contain the fluid energy that was flowing through the stage and the crowd. Capture the Crown deliver a cinematic metalcore set on the Not Your American Idols Tour

The Not Your American Idols Tour made a stop into Sacramento earlier this week. Unfortunately due to vehicle troubles, For All Those Sleeping and Myka Relocate were unable to perform. Capture The Crown delivered a great cinematic metalcore set which featured their new members from a lineup change. Jeffrey Wellfare announced the new members of Maurice Morfaw on bass, Ryan Seretti on drums and Kyle Devaney on guitar through a Facebook post earlier this month. Catch Youth in Revolt out on the Not Your American Idols Tour

Tuesday night we made our way to Sacramento to cover the Not Your American Idols Tour in Sacramento at the Assembly Music Hall. The crowd was ready and the bands definitely were there to deliver incredible sets. Youth In Revolt from New Jersey was one of the bands that I was looking forward to catching live. They were awesome with energy that filled the stage and poured into the crowd. They delivered an intense dose of hardcore to the Sacramento crowd. You couldn’t keep yourself contained as you would get amped watching the fierce jumping of the bassist and guitarists. Every member of the band holds an incredible stage presence and they got the crowd off their feet and captivated them from start to finish. Definitely one of the stand out bands of the night and I am already looking forward to seeing them again! San Diego metalcore band, Capsize are premiering a new music video for their song, Linger which is off their full length debut album, The Angst in My Veins.
