Hinder continues on as Austin Winkler leaves the tour to recover

Breaking News: Earlier this week Hinder had to cancel their Denver show due to illness and today a new report is in. It was reported on Hinder’s Facebook page a little while ago that Austin Winkler, the lead singer is temporary leaving the tour for personal reasons. Don’t worry if you have tickets for the upcoming shows because instead of cancelling, the show will go on with some surprises guests to help them out. I really commend the boys in the band to continue on and play the tour out. I have had so many recent experiences where there were last minute cancellations due to member line up changes, etc. So make sure to show them your support and get ready to party at these shows. The Show Must Go On for Papa Roach

Vocal issues have plagued lead singer Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach for some time now. It was last year that he spoke about a node forming on his vocal chord and which eventually led him to have surgery. He successfully recovered from that surgery and has gone on to kick ass at shows with his incredible voice. He truly is one of my favorite vocalists! Last week, due to vocal issues, Papa Roach had to cancel their show in Berlin. They did continue on to play on the next shows but we are still concerned for Jacoby and his voice. Today he posted a photo of himself with the caption : OXYGEN AND STEROIDS FOR SWOLLEN VOCAL CHORDS!!! THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!! Randy Blythe and his personal plea to you!

Randy Blythe of Lamb of God has recently put out a plea to all. Randy is set to embark back on tour on May 16th with his first stop at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC. This will be one of the first shows since being found not guilty of manslaughter charges by Czech judges that stems from a 2010 concert in which a 19 year old fan died, Daniel Nosek. Today Randy took his tumblr account with a plea to all: Be Carefully. Steven Adler back in rehab, Summer Tour postponed!

Breaking News! The much anticipated Adler “Back from the Dead” tour has been postponed. It is reported that Steven has checked himself into a undisclosed rehabilitation facility to continue working on his sobriety. We all send Steven our support and look forward to his return. I am sure he will come back stronger than ever since nothing can keep him down. One of my favorite singers has just announced his solo tour to highlight the release of the third edition of his book! Yes, Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October has just announced dates for his solo tour titled, “An Open Book” An Evening with Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October. This coincides with release of the expanded 3rd edition of his book of lyrics and writings dubbed “Crazy Making” due out on April 1, 2013. These shows sound like they are going to be a lot fun and insightful as to the writings of Justin. Included with spoken word by Justin, there will be a Q & A session, and acoustic songs. It is time to make some noise for A Silent Film

A Silent Film is a powerhouse quartet from Oxford, UK that took me by surprise on Saturday night. I went to see Blue October play at The Regency Ballroom and you can read my full review from that show here. A Silent Film was one of the opening bands and I am sure glad that I got there in time to watch their whole set. These guys were incredible. I was up sitting in the balcony area and gathering my notes for my review and as soon as they hit the stage, I literally got up and had to get downstairs onto the floor and to see if what I was hearing was accurate! It is time to enjoy some Royal Bliss! These guys have been around for over 13 years and are a true to rock and roll band from Salt Lake City. Over the years, they have had their share of bumps in the road which includes near death experiences, serious accidents, totaled cars, label changes and so much more. One thing remained constant for them, their passion for their music and staying true to themselves. This shows more than ever with their recent CD/Album Release, “Waiting out the Storm” which is their first release on their own record label, “AIR Castle Records”.
