Dirty Honey kicks off Can’t Find the Brakes Tour in San Francisco

October 19, 2023

Our favorite rockers Dirty Honey kicked off their headlining “Can’t Find the Brakes Tour” last night in San Francisco with a jaw dropping high energy performance at The Regency Ballroom. The band is heading out across North America in support of their blazing new album Can’t Find the Brakes. The night started with a rockin set by Austin Meade who we recently caught at Aftershock Festival 2023. Dirty Honey features powerhouse vocals by Marc Labelle, incendiary guitar playing from John Notto, thunderous bass from Justin Smolian and it was the first show where we were introduced to the new drummer Jaydon Bean and he definitely blew us away.   They hit the stage and rocked the crowd with a high energy performance of the title track Can’t Find the Brakes. They continued with full force into Heartbreaker and the fans were loving every minute of it. The band sounded spot on and the charismatic energy of each member flowed seamlessly and effortlessly. It was magical as you witnessed legends in the making performing right there in [Read More]

His tour Aren’t We Ever Gonna Be More Than Friends? named after his third LP which was released this summer has been packing venues across the US. He comments about the tour “There’s nothing more genuine to me than being on stage performing my own songs that somehow became popular enough to wrangle up a crowd, but I can’t really fathom the thought of headlining an entire North America tour… But here I am announcing an entire North America tour… So put your cowboy boots & bell bottoms on & get ready to get rowdy, cause I can’t help but ask – Aren’t We Ever Gonna Be More Than Friends?” One thing is certain you can’t deny his genuine love for performing and he gives everything he’s got to the crowd and they happily reciprocate with cheers, dancing and singing along.  The energy reverberates through the audience and quickly gains momentum with each and every song. The crowd was fueled and ready to rock, no opener needed to get them going. The band walked out behind the curtains and began performing Don’t Wanna Sleep and when the curtains dropped, cheers and screams erupted throughout the arena.  The ROCK show begun and there was no slowing down from that moment until the end. It was filled with high energy, excellent musicianship and the band not only play off each other but incredible crowd interaction. Excited to share the new track from Hey Violet as they sign to Hopeless Records

October 16, 2023

We are so excited to share the awesome news of Hey Violet signing to Hopeless Records. As the Los Angeles based alt pop band ushers in a new era the release of their new single, i should call my friends makes a big splash. The infectious new track will have longtime fans and new ones dancing along in no time. Vocalist Rena Lovelis shares of the Track:    “i should call my friends” is a cry to a nostalgic reminiscing of youth and the song is simultaneously calling out bad habits I (Rena) slip into sometimes, like isolating and not keeping in contact with people as much as I normally would. This song is a super fun but acutely self-reflective anthem that paints a picture of a widely felt human experience – our need for connection with each other and compassion for ourselves. This song really touches on struggles with mental illness and how that in itself can make one feel incredibly disconnected. We want listeners to know that if you feel that way, you are not [Read More]

Check out new music from alternative rockers Stray + The Wild

October 13, 2023

Dark alternative rockers Stray + The Wild have just released their latest single, Show Me The Way. The new track is exactly what we needed to get us ready for the weekend. Guitarist and songwriter, Alan Dämien, shares, “We realize that we need to put our own ideas about life behind us if we want to write songs that can reach out to the souls of people. We want them to see what’s really happening in the world.” “We all go through so many circumstances that define who we are. People get hung up with bad habits, life events, and become comfortable in their own personal situations. These songs were written to wake people up, to show them how we’re treating the planet, each other, and every living creature, with hopes that we will individually become self-aware and do the right thing.” Produced by the renowned Mudrock, known for his work with Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park, Godsmack, and Deftones, and recorded by Mudrock and Alan Dämien, this single is a testament to the band’s commitment to creating music that resonates with the souls of [Read More]
